Sovereign Citizen Resists Traffic Stop Arrest As A 'Free Citizen On A Free Highway'

A sovereign citizen in Virginia was arrested and charged with five misdemeanors after a bizarre encounter with a state police officer where he called himself a "free citizen on a free highway" and gave multiple fake names.

Michael Creath Jones, 31, was pulled over last week by State Trooper T.M. Simmons because he had a fake painted license plate with the words "Virginia" and "private use" handwritten on it.

The News Virginian reports that according to the search warrant affidavit:

Jones locked his doors and barely cracked open his window and refused to identify himself. He told Simmons he was a "free citizen on a free highway" and provided different names. The trooper asked for identification at least 10 times.

Jones also said he did not have to provide a driver's license, and only got out of the car when Simmons threatened to arrest him and break the car window. Jones struggled when Simmons tried to handcuff him. He was later charged with "resisting arrest, obstruction of justice with force, driving without a license, having an expired inspection sticker and defective equipment," Staunton's News-Leader reports.

Simmons said he found documents relating to the sovereign citizens movement and their activities in the trunk of the car, as well as a Geiger counter, according to the News-Leader.

Sovereign citizens are a loosely organized anti-government group who believe all forms of government and laws are illegitimate. Some sovereign citizens, when confronted with law enforcement have become violent, while others have sought revenge through "paper terrorism," like several in New York who were recently convicted of mail fraud.

After careful deliberation I've come to the very reasonable conclusion that the vast majority of 'anti-government' types are all these 14th amendment 'U.S. citizens' since they support the fraudulent 14th amendment (never lawfully ratified per Art. V of the Constitution, it's an established historical fact*) and IF the 14th amendment were actually in effect it would abrogate/nullify the Constitution in its entirety. THEREFORE *all* 'U.S. citizens' are anti-constitution thus 'anti-government'.

*There's no re-writing the history of the fraud of the 14th amendment, and those who think that fraud has any validity is certifiably insane.

I had a brief contact with a sovereign citizen group. The main guy had au and ag coins on the table. He explained the FRNs scam ( I knew all this and more) and suggested to the dumb audience that we give him our life savings and he would buy PMs for us so we can avoid the paper trail. Also offered to issue us new birth certificates so we could become free from the system. I got the fuck out of there as fast as I could.

All that you need is a diplomatic passport from a foreign country for $18,500.......it works, a "friend" of mine used twice.......the last time to travel to Argentina last year.

PS: Passport is NOT from Aregentina.

having an expired inspection sticker

Sounds like he was already registered with the system at one time. There's no going back once you're registered.

Thing is, I don't like this comment. I don't like comments that paint all folks with the same paintbrush. I'm sure there is a lot of good and bad intentioned folks in the sovereign citizen movement, but this makes them all look bad.

I also don't see a crime. Guy was minding his own business, yet stupid for having a fake license plate. There was no crime, yet he was arrested.

The waters are muddy on this one. I think that man may have been mistreated here. My two bits.

The jackass who wrote that pile of shit is a gawdam moronic sheep who enjoys getting sodomized by the corporate state.

For example:

a fake painted license plate with the words "Virginia" and "private use" handwritten on it.

That tag could have *only* been a "fake license plate" if the owner tried to make it appear to be an actual STATE OF VIRGINIA (as in a political subdivision of the Federal corporation as opposed to one of the several states*) 'license plate'.

I cannot believe the extreme stupidity involved, of course the money powers who own the Federal corporation love the compliant sheep who write moronic articles like this as well as the ones who post it to forums on the net, essentially acting as self-appointed 'police' to keep anyone from getting out of line.

*note that the CIA Factbook refers to the 'states' as 'administrative divisions' of the Federal corporation

We don't send our police officers out with a law dictionary in their holster. For a reason.

:D arguing legal word definitions with them is hilarious

They should have knowledge though, at least some. Plus, copies of penal codes and vehicle codes at home. Plus, quick reference guides, etc.

You try memorizing all the damn vehicle codes out there. Same with penal codes, not to mention all the elements of each code.

******* nightmare. Too much, for any man.

At least the soveriegn citizens aren't bogged down by paper.

Yeah, all us braindead moronic sheep like our policy enforcers as ignorant as possible where they stick strictly to what they are TRAINED to do and DO NOT engage in objective or critical thinking, rather they engage in the lowest common denominator groupthink.
