Well Joplin Missouri just got squashed by a tornado a few hours ago, Plus other tornadoes spread over other states. Death counts at 25 and are climbing and a estimate of the damage will have to be tomorrow when it gets
light. There is Major damage at a hospital at least 4 killed there. Many more deaths in the surrounding area.
This with the other tornado's in Alabama, plus the flooding makes one think maybe there is something
about all of the doomsday stuff in the news lately?

WAVERLY, Mo. | Authorities said a tornado struck a Joplin, Mo., hospital Sunday and caused the roofs of two city fire stations to collapse.
Jasper County Emergency Management Director Keith Stammer said the St. John’s Regional Medical Center on the city’s south side took a “direct hit.” He said there are multiple reports of injuries from the twister that struck around 6 p.m. Sunday.
A spokeswoman at the hospital’s sister facility, Cora Scott, said the tornado affected a patient wing. There were reports that windows were blown out.
The hospital system owns and operates multiple EMS crews throughout southwest Missouri and was sending them to Joplin.
Stammer says emergency responders are conducting search and rescue operations. The Joplin Globe reported that widespread damage could be seen along the city’s most densely built commercial strip.
There also were broadcast reports of damaged businesses and vehicles overturned on highway entrances elsewhere around or near the city.
Calls to Mike O’Connell of the State Emergency Management Agency were not immediately returned.
Earlier in the day, a weak tornado began to form near Higginsville and dissipated just as it hit the town of Waverly, said National Weather Service meteorologist Andy Bailey. The twister caused minor damage to trees and removed the roof of a mobile home, Bailey said.
Waverly is about 55 miles east of Kansas City in Lafayette County.
