Too bad nobody will listen to him. I wonder what goes through all the other senator's minds when he speaks, probably, "ugh when will he shut up", or "I wonder what the senate cafeteria is serving for lunch today".

Unfortunately I think you are right. His head and heart are in the right place but as a man of principle he stands alone in the congress save for his father.

i have not seen a vote on the patriot act that i had a say in it one way are the other . the people of the usa has done lose that right to say no are yes on something . it all in the gangests hands now

He makes the other sellout whores in Congress look like just what they are.
They will have to get rid of him.
It would be nice if we elected more like him.
But we're in the shape we are because, I believe, that most of the people
who you or I send this link to will not watch it all the way through.
Twelve minutes of attention is too much ask of them.
A 'Spirit of slumber' is on the American public.
Sad. And maddening.
