This really breaks my heart at where we're at as a nation.

Even as a kid growing up as a rebel I always felt that OUR government would look out or us. They'd have our best interests at heart. Born in this country, I've got the documents to prove it, I was raised in a communist country. As a kid flying back into LAX I always felt the positive energy when I was landing, that stopped about 15 maybe 20 years ago.

Now what do we have. A corrupted government, a financial system in ruins, manufacturing sold off to the chinks, and a complete lack of morals and ethics. At this point there's only a few things I'm certain of, the worst of the worst is yet to come. From these faggots at TSA, to the government nickel and dimming you for your last pennies, to all out lawlessness under the "lies" of civil liberties. And just when I say, "Can it get any worse?", it does.

I know I'm just ranting, but for fucks sake, at some point we have to take a stand together. I know that the vast majority of GSURers are prepped, but somehow we've got to stop this. I've been in the F it crowd for a while, and the BRING IT crowd, but do we really want that?

This has to be fixable, at least I hope it is. I'm just at a loss for words and maybe this isn't fixable, and it just has to run it's course. I just hope that when it's over, people that caused this mess are hanging from lamp posts.

A lot has changed just since the '80's , and then you had the last 10 years.

There is no end in sight.

People that are children today growing up, imagine how dumb they will be,
all things considered, tv, video games, political correctness, trained by tsa
to show them their undies.

Live your life and do the best you can for others as well.

Never give up, always have faith and hope.

I think some sort of a bottom is near, prepare.

At times like this you got to ask:

I would say using history as a map, there is no feasible way to turn this thing around. I see no example in history of a Great Empire leaning towards Freedom and Independence. Massive societies such as ours ALWAYS lean towards Tyranny, Oppression, Torture, Evil, etc.

Government is like a Tropism. The same way a plant bends towards the light, Governments ALWAYS bend towards Black Boots, Riot Gear, Weapons, Power, Authority, etc. There is no example in history of a giant Empire leaning towards a free and open society. NO society ever gets more free, more individual Liberty, etc......It is a fact. Like living with gravity.

Maybe we are the first people to find a way to stop it? Somehow, i find myself being very negative in this aspect. It took absolutely amazingly great men and woman to fight for the idea of Liberty, Property and self determination. I see very little people that fit this description now. What once was an idea exhausted and practiced by all, has now been reduced to a small ideology that has been demonized, oppressed and generally rousted out of wherever it tries to live.

I have said this before, we are living in 100% more important times than our founders. What is happening/has happened is 100x worse than what they had to endure. That is why they succeeded. They fully understood what Tyranny and Despotism were, they were able to spot it VERY early, and withdrew their consent. We have allowed this Luciferian doctrine to engulf our entire house. No bug spray will work at this time.

We may need to burn the house to the ground, and start over rebuilding it again. I HIGHLY suggest using the same foundations and floor plans as the original. It may not have been perfect, but it is our fault we did not perfect it.

I don't have much faith in things turning around, everywhere you look you see corruption completely out in the open, they don't even try and hide it anymore.
In the past the politicians tried not to get caught in lies but now they could care less because they fear no reprisal.
We have more people in DC lobbying then we have politicians

The last straw I believe is the ruling of the SCOTUS that corporations are persons and can contribute as much money to their favorite cause with no restrictions, this effectively gives them the ability to not just sway elections as in the past but completely control them from start to finish.

We have No leaders that are willing to step forward and continue the dream our founding fathers once had, the leaders of today are not just allowing the dream to die away, but are actively killing it for their own selfish greed.

True America is no more

It died out

what is left is 77 million of aging sex-crazy dope-smoking Hippy-Punk godless “revolutionaries”, plus a bunch of foreigners

neither have any idea what America is/was

Corruption of baby-boom generation murdered America in 60-ies

And the party began ….. Now, the fruits of labor of their fathers is sold to China and India. Future of the generations-to-come is mortgaged. Country is given away to strangers.

What else do they have left that can be sold?
………………………………………

Before 60-es there were American Values. Remember how you despised "traditional values"; remember how you despised obedience and “strict” rules of American ways.

You got your revolution, you overthrew your fathers; there is no more authority and no more moral values to restrict you anymore

The glue is undone;

Enjoy fruits of your fake “freedom”

Maybe it's in the air or something General? Lately I've become down right depressed and saddened by it all, hoping against hope to remove myself from the idiotic, apathetic masses I encounter in the course of making a living (existence) and instead recluse alone or with others of like mind, to a vantage point out of the way from the inevitable shit storm.

These thoughts though lead me to the possible conclusion that no such place exists and lethargy is the unwelcome, unintended result. Everyday it seems there are new reports and stories of our decline and impending full on collapse, while good news is totally absent or few and far between. Staying positive and hopeful is a daunting task because it seems that to make it so one must agree to believe the hopeful lie we must tell ones self to maintain at least a modicum of sanity and out of the darker places in our minds. It's a war that I've found myself mostly losing but as they say "that's why God made tomorrow", so maybe I can learn to tell myself and believe in that hopeful lie?

If I thought for an instant such happiness was a specific place I'd pack up and start for it post haste but I somehow think it's a utopia that only exists in the past or in the fantasy of history as we now view it. And for as much as I do love the climate here I would gladly exchange it for a colder, harsher, freer version of nirvana that stirs in my soul.

And so begins the final drama,
In the streets and in the fields.
We stand unbowed before their armour,
We defy their guns and shields!
When we fight, provoked by their aggression,
Let us be inspired by life and love.
For though they offer us concessions,
Change will not come from above!
So come brothers and sisters,
For the struggle carries on.
The Internationale,
Unites the world in song.
So comrades, come rally,
For this is the time and place!
The Internationale,
Unites the human race.

I think the first part of this is correct. There will be no effective action until the full face of crisis can no longer be hidden from the masses.

But let me add to the second part. In addition to being prepared for yourself, be prepared to influence others. Many here have already tried to get through to friends and family without much success, but the real opportunity for this groundwork to pay dividends will come when we reach crisis stage, whatever form that takes.

I have friends who listen and may not be fully "prepared", but they now watch with a wary eye. They will be much quicker to see and respond when the time comes.

It all may be "fixable". We are still a very young country by historical standards, less than a few hundred years old. I think there will be an opportunity to rebuild on the old foundation.

Given my observations of the Internet, TV, video game playing, droopy eyed, armless children (25 & under).... It's all over. And it's not their fault. The planners and specialists must be joyous with the success of their ongoing operation.
They destroyed a nation and people of millions through propaganda, social engineering, control of currency, and unjust law. We practically begged them for it.

i would say that the pain of realizing how corrupt our world government's are, and our business communities ... that it's comparable to being skinned alive. it evokes sadness and anger, and sometimes anxiety.

i can understand why people avoid it, most of the time. heck, i would rather be out planting brussel sprouts than thinking about the Sickness that is Rahm Emanuel, Obama, Netanyahu, Blair, Bush, etc.

but it does affect our lives so we need to think about it realistically.

for me it seems odd that one of my escapes from the world situation created by our Fearless Leaders ... is to consume Hollywood products, via Netflix. last night i listened to Star Trek 2 again, the new one.

so i'm giving $9 a month to The Man.

I can relate gundriller, I escaped and immersed myself in Deadwood, the HBO series. Watched season 2 and 3 for free and I ordered season 1 via Amazon, should be here sometime today. It is ironic that part of the thing I rail against on a regular basis is the very thing I am using to medicate myself from its effects, so much so that I must confess to being to one degree or another, a hypocrite. A few hours of respite all for the low, low price of $19.99.

well, it's healthier than sniffing coke - look at the bright side ! ;D

i think the main thing is to starve the beast. what they want is your MONEY - OK, so you give them a little bit because
* playing chess all the time is boring.
* going to a movie theater once in a while is fun - and fun helps us survive better.

on behalf of the Talmud-worshippers, whose wallet is dinked the most by movie piracy, the FBI shut down about 10 websites just this last week.

i heard about a guy who watched V for Vendetta via torrents. that is an example of obtaining the Fun without putting $$ in Uncle Shylock's pocket. of course, that's exactly what the FBI is trying to crack down on.

i'm not advocating IP theft in general. i've had software stolen from me and it does hurt, especially if an IP attorney says he can't represent you because - you don't have enough money.

i would say, a good rule of thumb is, there's nothing wrong with stealing from billionaires in the movie industry. they STARTED the movie industry by stealing from Edison.

There's probably some truth to this. Have we romanticized the past? I remember things being much simpler when I was a kid, but also that some things really sucked. Can you have major favorable standard-of-living advances with out accepting some of the restrictions that accompany regulation and standardization? Could we all be participating in this forum if developers and manufacturers had refused to yield to internet protocols?

To answer the op's question...

...erm, sad yes(extremely)...what got us here, no...it was obvious.
You can only continue to live a certain lifestyle for so long. If you don't change your ways for the better it will comeback to bite you in the ass(So in a way I am not surprised). That's what we allowed to happen as a nation. Also I've noticed both here and places like GIM, where there's much resentment towards others not considered "Americans" is directed. You can argue all you want, but those of you that think this way are also limiting your perceptions & may be quick to judge. I've met bad seeds & good seeds in various races & areas of the U.S. But let's put that aside, b/c it should not be about pointing fingers at the people living here, but at the fact that we can't see past our differences & instead we should be looking at what our gov't & world gov'ts are plotting for our future. The only question we should be asking is who is running the show & how can we all get together as one to stop them? And if it's already too late then stop fighting each other you fools!

Flame suit on.
