Indeed and that is the very reason why a very large part of the economy is involved in making people stupid. Pharmaceuticals, education, media, processed food industry, water distribution... Life starts of with brain damaging injections of neurotoxins, and from then on everything extra is just further insult to injury. Don't vaccinate your children, and they will most likely be at least a standard deviation above what is considered normal today...

June Snow Blankets Sierra Nevada
By WeatherBug Meteorologist, Andrew Rosenthal
UPDATED 5:45 AM PDT, June 6, 2011
The calendar may read June, but the weather pattern is decidedly winter-like for parts of northern and central California. Snow is falling across the Sierra Nevada this morning, making travel difficult and extending an already long snow season.
The perpetrator is a slow-moving low-pressure system spinning off the central California coast, bringing waves of Pacific moisture to the Central Valley and Sierra Nevada. Much more of a February or March-like pattern, this system is tapping into a cold air mass locked across western Canada as well as moisture from the sub-tropical Pacific Ocean.
This unusual pattern for this late in the spring has been producing waves of showers and thunderstorms in the San Joaquin Valley, and even snowfall for the Sierra Nevada above 7,000 feet. Nearly an inch of rain fell in Fresno on Sunday, pushing the city to its ninth rainiest season on record. It is also creating flooding concerns as the rain overwhelms the region`s storm drains. If you come across water in the road, do not attempt to cross it, as it is likely deeper than it appears. Remember: Turn Around, Don`t Drown!
Meanwhile, the already-long winter season continues across the higher elevations of the Sierra Nevada. As much as 7 inches of new snow will be on the ground by this afternoon above 10,000 feet, with 2 to 4 inches of snow as low as 7,000 feet.
For this, a Winter Storm Warning is in effect from Yosemite to Kings Canyon National Park, with Winter Weather Advisories in place across Sequoia National Park, the northern Sierra, and higher elevations of the eastern Sierra.
This late-spring snowfall is likely to make roads ice-covered and slippery, especially through the Sierra Nevada. If you plan to travel into the mountains today, have chains in the car in case requirements go into effect, and be sure to use caution.
For snow lovers, this wintry weather means the snow and skiing season goes on into the middle of June. Mammoth Mountain and Donner Ski Ranch remain open, with several inches of new snow since Sunday morning. Total snowfall amounts for the season across the central Sierra Nevada have already surpassed 700 inches in many spots.
The wintry pattern won`t last too deeply into the week, as the storm system responsible for it finally slides inland and gives way to high pressure and a return to more seasonable conditions on Tuesday.

ExpressUK: UPROAR AS BBC MUZZLES CLIMATE CHANGE SCEPTICS (http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/260164/Uproar-as-BBC-muzzles-climate-change-sceptics)
Thursday July 21,2011By Nathan Rao
THE BBC was criticised by climate change sceptics yesterday after it emerged that their views will get less coverage because they differ from mainline scientific opinion.
In a report by its governing body, the BBC Trust, the corporation was urged to focus less on opponents of the “majority consensus” in its programmes.
It said coverage should not be tailored to represent a “false balance” of opinion if one side came from a minority group.
The report was partly based on an independent review of coverage by Steve Jones, Professor of Genetics at University College, London.
Although he found no evidence of bias in BBC output, he suggested where there is a “scientific consensus” it should not hunt out opponents purely to balance the story.
He highlighted climate change as an example along with the controversy over the Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccine potentially leading to autism.
On climate change, Professor Jones said there had been a “drizzle of criticism of BBC coverage” arising from “a handful of journalists who have taken it upon themselves to keep disbelief alive”...
Great comment after the article:
DEBATE REQUIRES TWO SIDES, CONTROL USES BOTH
22.07.11, 2:34am
One can find hundreds of "mainline" scientists who are skeptical and/or deniers with 10 minutes of effort on the World Wide Wiretap. The question that should be asked is: why would debate be constricted for any reason?
The answer to that question requires one to step back from the daily pounding of programing... since from before the first grades of schooling for most of us... in what psychological warfare people call "processing."
We are all told to conform to the "experts," the "authorities," and to literally almost... now again... encouraged to avert our eyes from our overlords LET ALONE HAVING THE COURAGE TO NAME THEM.
This is conditioning. We in America are even more conditioned that you in Britain if that is possible? Look at the word "Denier." As we all know this in invoking the quasi religious status of the "Holocaust" to shame and silence of what the Talmud repeatedly calls the "animals." That is, US.
Do you dare mention this or say it out loud in most situations let alone comment upon related subjects. In America doing so will get you on a list or that is the fear that locks in the silence. Is it paranoia... belief that ideas now in the West and even America will be punished... if not now... in the near future?
Concerning AGW. The science, if truth... has nothing to fear from debate. And as one poster rightly comments... giving the AGO forces their most severe control of society is... giving up 6000 years in wages of bloodshed that led to the principals of toleration of thought... and the tide of creative elevation for the human race, to the degree that it has been positive... and this sacrifice for a faith in an obviously grossly slanted... extremely well funded... Banking Cartel erected... quasi scientific propaganda campaign is... INSANITY.
Science is not without fault politically! The role of "Science," is some of the bloodiest psychotic political efforts in history... is well known.
But have you thought that your part in these battles is in your conditioning that gives impunity to the very name "science?"... That bows to its hollow drones and highly focused voice... and that we have been trained like monkeys... to reflexively extend... this ill advised regard to the point that we will not raise our voices to science's obvious corruption? What are scientists saying about hormones in food... the 85% lower sperm counts... the hyper feminizing of girls so that they menstruate at 10!
Just one important example... but one of hundreds. Where are these scientists who are so concerned about us concerning GMO foods? Point being the can be easily bought and are very often willing to plow the propaganda waves for the purpose of world government... they have in the past in the thousands and will always. The idea that Scientists are of a higher moral caliber that the average person is a lie.
They are often the most prejudice of men and women, cowards and highly malleable to egotistical appeals... .
Every professional organization is now infiltrated by the same banking Entity that wants a world taxation on everything that has any energy content. That would be... EVERYTHING IN EVERY COUNTRY.
Behavior is the target all behavior, sovereignty or what little is left of it is the target, birth licenses and death panels are the inevitable outcomes... of minds that equate "saving the planet" with the forced contraction of population AND who cover for souls that despise and hate in an ancient grievance of 2000 years, that ram armies together in its sating in a sick murderous compulsive slaughter of the other... whose only crime finally is their existence.
For behind all of this is the same force that financed the "Russian Revolution" drove Jews to Israel, funded Hitler and just raped Greece. And the latter is no accident for the Cradle of Western Thought must be the first act in the fall of the West to this age old enemy.
And our "Climate Taxes" are to pay for our extermination.
Will you countenance this are you so fearful?
Yes you are for fear too has been husbanded... and guided.
Awake... .

Does the term "climate change" make anyone else grind their teeth a little bit every time they hear it? Weather is a chaotic process that can't be predicted more than a few days, using a supercomputer. Climate is known to have changed many times and drastically throughout earth's history. The "climate change" war cry is just like the "war on terrorism". There is no definition of it and no end possible for it.
With global warming, we had a clear definition of what was wrong. But since it's been cooling for the last decade now not only have the scientists proven they don't know what they are talking about, but now we are fighting change, the only sure thing in the universe.

Maybe Max can ponder the contents of that comment keehah. It seems we have moved a long way past the absolute exposure of this fraud that happended not more than 2 years ago. The whole sordid mess was blown wide open for everyone to see. Manipulation of weather measurement by Govt agenvcies. Closing down 2/3rds of all weather stations. The 2/3rds showing lower temperature trends. Destruction of more than 25 years of measurement data so that Govt Agencies statements on GW could not be verified.
4 years ago my city's 100 year old weather station was closed and a new one was opened about 15 kilometers away. The issue is that this new location is always and has always been 4 or 5 degrees warmer. Now they are telling us that we have had two of the hottest and driest summer in recorded history (100 years). Except their records only go back 4 years because they started a new data set by moving the weather station to a new location. It is all these manipulations that are now forgotten.
I remember the politicians declaring that the fraud would not matter, they were still pushing forward. They ADMITTED it was a fraud but they said tough. Not one evangelist remembers this for some reason. Carbon taxation is the most dire threat we have faced for a long time. In my opinion it is the most severe danger we have faced in thousands of years.

A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR.
I'm sorry some readers felt my piece on global warming made light of the suffering of Jewish people during the Holocaust. Of course, this was not my intention.
I was trying to express the frustration felt by some towards those who deny climate change. Part of the frustration is that one imagines in 20 years' time, when the effects are more obvious, that this group may forget their role in preventing timely action. Thus I suggested a series of ridiculous ways of making them stand witness to their beliefs, with each of these ways dismissed in turn as absurd. One method was rejected as being too reminiscent of Hitler, another as being absurdly evil.
My intention was to underline to the reader that I wasn't seriously proposing these methods, but was suggesting them as a mark of frustration with the idea that people could prevent action but then pretend they hadn’t.
That said, I accept that some readers found the reference inappropriate and I certainly apologise to them for causing offence.

Yep! I read a great article recently (IIRC I posted it here as .pdf) which contained a remarkable figure showing that per capita energy consumption peaked in 2001. Any future maintainence or improvement in standard of living will require improved efficiencies that more than offset decreases in available energy. It would appear that the slow decline of modern society is well underway and barring some miraculous energy discovery (Dr. Rossi's cold fusion cell?) will be inexorable.

The PTB are trying to be proactive and getting us to consume less to help the environment when in actuality they are disguising the fact that there is less to consume (or soon will be) and more people worldwide to consume it.

I'm with you, mamboni. The people who push/believe the global warming BS annoy the hell out of me. I'm no scientist, but I do know that not only is CO2 not a toxic gas, but it is required for photosynthesis, a pretty important part of the eco-system around here.
Excess CO2 leads to excess photosynthesis, not entirely a bad thing, especially if you like to eat. And I like to eat.

Two points:
1. We were talking abput CO2 in the atmosphere , not the blood. You do not need CO2 in the air to breath.
2. Blood CO2 is entirely of endogenous origin - it has nothing to do with atmospheric CO2.

I don't necessarily think he is maliciously trolling. My thoughts on this, based on observations over a period of time, is that most likely people that behave this way have pent-up sexual energy that either isn't being released or not properly being directed. Mostly this occurs in young people, but isn't limited to them. I don't know what steps can be taken to remedy this.
