Why did TT's thread get locked down?

Seriously, It may be worth your effort to get into contact with the sheriff's office. Find out what the hell is going on. Sweet talk yourself into some info if this is being done on a broad basis in your area. At least find out if they knew about it.

I just checked... it's not locked. None of the mods here have a reason to lock it - my only thought is that maybe TT accidentally locked it then realized he hit the wrong button? :conf:
