DHS partners with Jewish organizations

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced its first faith-based security partnership on Friday, as it joined ranks with two major Jewish organizations.

The move is part of the agency’s “If You See Something, Say Something” awareness campaign and will work with the Jewish Federations of North America and the Secure Community Network to promote and distribute media materials in Jewish centers, organizations and communities throughout the country.
Homeland security begins with hometown security, and our nation’s faith-based organizations play a critical role in keeping our communities safe,” said Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano in a statement.

“Expanding the ‘If You See Something, Say Something’ campaign to national Jewish groups, the first faith-based partnership for the campaign, is an important step in the Department’s ongoing effort to engage the American public in our nation’s security efforts.”

The board of The Jewish Federations of North America pointed to recent attempted attacks on Jewish targets, such as the two men who were accused of allegedly plotting to attack a Manhattan synagogue last month as they allegedly tried to purchase a grenade and handguns.

“The American Jewish community and the places we gather are, unfortunately, often targets for terrorists,” said Michael Gelman, the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of the Jewish Federations of North America.

“This new partnership with the Department of Homeland Security will empower us to counter this threat as we become more actively involved in our own protection,” he said.

Last July, DHS launched its nationwide public awareness campaign after local law enforcement officials successfully ran a similar program’s in New York City. The DHS program has partnered with major sporting associations including the NBA, NFL, and NCAA, in an attempt to use employee and the public reports as a way to spot suspicious activity and thwart possible terrorist attacks.

All Jews to be exempt from Homeland Security measures... All Goy to remain suspect

that's exactly the game-plan - for as long as it lasts.

what if they see some guy standing on a corner with a sign that says "Israel Did 9-11" ?

he will obviously have to be reported.

Homeland Security Releases New Funds to Jewish Non-Profits (http://gold-silver.us/forum/showthread.php?35811-Homeland-Security-Releases-New-Funds-to-Jewish-Non-Profits)

Story is from mid July, was just linked at The Ugly Truth blog (http://theuglytruth.wordpress.com/2010/09/20/homeland-security-releases-new-funds-to-jewish-non-profits/). DHS, the new agency created "in response to" the zionist 911 false flag attacks (http://rediscover911.com/introduction/), directing the taxpayer pork to the tribe. The official reason for the lopsided funding: protecting "institutions that are vulnerable to attack." Hmmm, shades of Holohoaxism (http://www.ccun.org/Opinion%20Editorials/2010/March/15%20o/Truth,%20History,%20and%20Integrity%20Questioning% 20the%20Holocaust%20Religion%20By%20Gilad%20Atzmon .htm).

Homeland security releases new funds to non-profits (http://www.jewishjournal.com/nation/article/homeland_security_releases_new_funds_to_non-profits_20100716/)

The Department of Homeland Security released $19 million to secure non-profits, the vast majority Jewish.

Of 271 institutions named in a list released this week by DHS, 254 are Jewish, including synagogues, schools, community centers and offices.

The funds were released as part of a congressionally mandated program in place since 2005 that targets institutions that are vulnerable to attack.

Security measures funded include “blast proof windows; reinforced doors, locks, gates, and fences; video surveillance; and other equipment and enhancements” as well as training, according to a release by the Jewish Federations of North America, the federations umbrelaa body that lobbies annually for the funding.

“The Nonprofit Security Grant Program is a proven resource that helps supplement the work of local and federal law enforcement to help keep us safe,” William Daroff, JFNA’s Washington director, said in a statement.

Other groups lobbying for the money include two Orthodox umbrella bodies, the Orthodox Union and Agudath Israel of America.

O.U. called the funds “an important tool to help prevent terrorist attacks and protect civilians in case of such attack” and Aguda said “threats and actual incidents of violence against Jewish targets in the United States and around the world point to the particular vulnerability of our community.”

Sen. Barbara Mikuski (D-Md.), who has shepherded the funding through congressional appropriations, said she remained committed to sustaining the program.

“I have fought for these funds in the past, and I will keep fighting to protect institutions that are vital to our communities and the physical, social, spiritual and educational well-being of all Americans,” she said.

makes me wonder if GIM1 was shut down because of new powers granted to FBI agents in 2008 - the "assessment" clause.

"Some of the most notable changes apply to the lowest category of investigations, called an "assessment." The category, created in December 2008, allows agents to look into people and organizations "proactively" and without firm evidence for suspecting criminal or terrorist activity."

regardless of GIM1's history, the FBI can basically initiate investigations on a whim.

Consider the case of 2 people -
A. person A makes a broad & deep case for the involvement of Israel in 9-11.
B. person B loves to write about photographing wildlife.

who do you think the FBI will assess ?

"The Federal Bureau of Investigation is giving significant new powers to its roughly 14,000 agents — allowing them more leeway to search databases, go through household trash or use surveillance teams to scrutinize the lives of people who have attracted their attention."

they can have my trash. whatever i don't manage to sell on eBay, that is. :-)
