I've got some extended family visiting for the weekend and we just sat down to a feast. Pork chops, roast beef, mashed potatoes, greenbeans, salad and bread, with homemade ice cream for desert. When we were all done, there were so many leftovers we didn't have room in the fridge. So for all the doom and gloom coming along, the fact that we can still do things like this is truly a blessing. Enjoy life now while it's still enjoyable. :)

We often pray twice for the meals for which we are about to recieve. Home cooked meals are good for the stomach and the soul. We have a meal for special occasions called land, sea and air, which consists of rib eye, maine lobster and smoked quail.

The real thanks comes after the meal when everyone is full and content... I think that makes God happy... a self-righteous, pre-meal display of piety is nauseating... not to impugn your prayer sir...
