Strange - "not to engage in any violence except to protect their lives" is used by police all the time it's never been a problem. This is encouraging when the Posse Comitatus falls and Marines roam the streets.

This, to me, is one of the funniest BS stories I've ever read. I couldn't help but laugh when reading it. There's no way, 2 unarmed guys could rob 3 marines...let alone 3 drunk marines. 3 drunk marines would 99% of the time just be looking for a fight anyway. My guess, is the marines made the story up. I would guess the marines kicked the 2 guys asses, then made the story up so they wouldn't get in trouble over it. Made the two guys look like robbers. Who knows what really happened.

What's even funnier, is the comments from the marine spokesperson. From the article.. Vanden Bossche said: “If some one is in such dire need that they need to rob someone, I don’t think that’s a fight Marines need to get into.” Haha.

Everyone is going the PC route trying to soften what happened. Funny stuff.

He has only one gun as far as I know, so I am guessing that you are giving you one of yours? :D

Re-read the story: Capt. Kate Vanden Bossche, a Marine spokeswoman, referred to rules of engagement. I suspect that she is a marine because she couldn’t expect engagement anywhere else! This is the work of the Clintons which was not aborted by the Bush, and is being brought to fruition by the Obamas. God help the United Staes- America is in its demise!
