My mechanic told me to be there at 8 am to reajust the valves on my Toy pick up.......well, I was there at 7:45, I hate being late for anything, I waited for 45 minutes till 8:40 and wondering why everything was still closed......I asked a guy walking by how come everything was still closed and he told me that it was a day of rest........UPSSSSSSSSSSS, I was 24 hours to early because it was Sunday morning...........remember that yesterday I thought that it was Friday?
Looks to me like my mental clock is 24 hours to early (or to late)....... like Agnut told me "You are the only person that I know who is trully retired"......sure, looks to me like I am even retired from humanity.

this is EXACTLY what happened at the Bay of Pigs.
the historical myth is that JFK refused to provide military support for the covert attack, which involved 1500 men.
however, JFK did authorize military support - from the Navy. but not the Air Force.
BUT - the Navy guys were off by 24 hours. I don't know if it was a deliberate mis-feed of information, or just plain a mistake.
April 17, 1961.
personally, i don't begrudge the Cubans for defending their island.
the official story is that it was Cuban exiles who did the attack, but they had so much support from the US that they were basically acting as a proxy for the US.
