Your user title is based on your post count. You start off with "Zinc", and progress through Copper, Silver, Electrum, Palladium, Gold, Platinum, Great Value Carrots, Iridium, then... who knows? ;)

For example, you'll reach "Gold" status in 136 more posts.

Certain members will be awarded a "Custom User Title" (CUT) at the sole disgression of the mods/admins... based on whatever they see is CUT-worthy.

Pretty self-explanatory... most 'Net forums have this stuff going.

No prob, MAGNES. There are other future customizations in the works, I'm still figuring out the admin stuff, and my priority right now is to fix the more pressing forum problems before doing too much more "cosmetic" stuff like this. Patience folks... this place is at LEAST 10 times better than it was when we first did the switchover! :)

As for the "not logged in" - "can only see last day's posts" thing, that is intentional and is working as intended. That way, the web-crawlers and indexing spiders won't be wasting our bandwidth downloading the entire site!

Here's some information about Iridium:


Iridium ( /ɨˈrɪdiəm/ i-rid-ee-əm) is the chemical element with atomic number 77, and is represented by the symbol Ir. A very hard, brittle, silvery-white transition metal of the platinum family, iridium is the second-densest element (after osmium) and is the most corrosion-resistant metal, even at temperatures as high as 2000*°C. Although only certain molten salts and halogens are corrosive to solid iridium, finely divided iridium dust is much more reactive and can be flammable.
Iridium was discovered in 1803 among insoluble impurities in natural platinum.
