Ok WTF was this?

Last night this deal was moving around in the sky and then disappeared. Sorry about the quality but that's all I could get at the moment. It kinda hovered while moving slowly before it disappeared. Never saw anything like it. the picture shows it in the southern sky.

Possibly a satellite. You probably saw it shortly after sunset and when the satellite fell into the earth shadow, it "disappeared".
