Just got off the phone, when I picked up this recorded voice said they have tried to contact me several times about my card (s) being in some (can not remember exact words) trouble. I knew that something was wrong, because I keep a zero balance on all of my cards.

So I punched the number to talk to a live person. And get this guy speaking fast, with the background noise of many people talking (call center) saying that my card interest rates were too high. And he could help me get my interest rate down to 8-9%. :o If I had a minimum balance of $5000 on my card (s).

So I ask him , what is your call back number?----------------Dead silence---Click!

Was sort of busy at the time, or I may have tried to play him, for grins. ;D

Nope a myriad of this crap going on since the economy is back on track. The card companies have nothing to do with it, just the asshats that bought your number from them want a share if the pie. There is no way in fvck that they can or will reduce your rate.

Complete scam!

I believe this company is a scam. They claim to offer credit card debt consolidation with a catchy robot recording saying "we have attempted to contact you several times" You can press 1 to talk to a real person. I have told them to not call and tried to use their opt out option. When I do talk to someone, they immediately hang up on me when I ask to be removed.

Later, when they called again, I finally asked "questions" about their service to gather information, but they hang up as soon as they believe they are being found out. I have been sworn at and threatened by these people too when I attempt to manipulate them for information so I can report them to the FCC. They have called my number monthly or quarterly about 1 year now.

Other researchers on these people have found their landline through a company called MCIMetro ATS, INC. I believe they operate out of the Eastern US.

I have filed a complaint with the FCC about these guys. They are a total scam trying to collect your credit card info. DON'T give them your card info.

If you want to play with them, tell them your balance is more than $3000 on your card after pressing 1. (Pressing 2 will not get you off their list, btw.) They will then start pumping you for card information. You can BS them for a while and try to get information on who they are, but beware they hang up quickly and abrubtly.

Regards.
