Beauty cream staff flee mall after probe (http://www.stuff.co.nz/sunday-star-times/news/4897286/Beauty-cream-staff-flee-mall-after-probe)

IF YOU'VE been to a mall lately, you've probably been approached by them – young foreigners in black clothes handing out beauty cream derived from Dead Sea minerals.

The mostly Israeli staff have also come to the attention of Immigration NZ, because some of them have been working illegally. Mystery surrounds the workers, how they came to be recruited and who they are working for.
The Sunday Star-Times was told by an official source that when immigration officers approached staff at one mall asking for their papers, they said they would retrieve them from their car, but never returned.

Immigration NZ head Nigel Bickle said when compliance officers visited Sylvia Park shopping centre in Auckland in February, they shut down one kiosk where three salespeople were working illegally on visitor visas, then discovered another kiosk at the other end of the mall.

"When our officers arrived there, the kiosk had been abandoned," Bickle said.
"Employees of a nearby shop told our officers that four workers at the kiosk had left in a hurry about the same time our officers had been at the first kiosk."
He said staff at the first kiosk could not provide contact details for the person who had engaged them. One had since left the country.

The Star-Times visited kiosks at the Westfield mall at St Luke's and two others at Sylvia Park. Others have been set up at malls all around the country.

The staff are now calling themselves "volunteers" and say they do not get paid.
"I'm only volunteering. I'm just here to tell people about this product," said one woman at St Luke's. She said she had heard about the kiosk through word of mouth in the Israeli community and volunteered because she believed the Dead Sea salt could "cure people of diseases, it's amazing". She had been volunteering at the kiosk for only two days and would soon be moving on.

One of her colleagues, aged 22, said she had recently finished serving in the Israeli army and was "volunteering" at the kiosks because "we do something nice for Israel".

Asked why she would work for free, she said: "My father told me that if I volunteered for two years for Israel, he pay [for my] study."

At Sylvia Park, a young woman called Adva said she heard about the kiosks through a "friend of a friend". She had been travelling in New Zealand for four months and planned to leave for Thailand soon.

Ad Feedback Asked why she was working for free, she said: "I don't do it for the money, I do it for Israel." While most of the staff were Israeli, a couple were from Chile.

The Star-Times spoke to an Israeli man alone, who said the workers were not volunteers, but were being paid on commission.

None of the staff were able to provide the name of the company they worked for or say who their manager was. Some claimed not to speak English well, even though they had just given spiels to shoppers.

A mall manager said he understood the company behind the kiosks used "student labour". Staff had also been asked to "tone down" their aggressive sales pitch after complaints from shoppers.

The manager gave the Star-Times a business card for a woman said to be behind the operation. Aviva Raisun is described as the administration manager of Dead Sea Beauty (2006) Ltd.

She said she made sure the kiosks had stock and that their accounting was up to date, but the business was owned by another company, LVS Retail.
Its owners were overseas on business and "will contact you when they are ready".

The companies office lists the director of LVS Retail as Sam Zewdie and the sole shareholder as Ronen Moshe. Its registered address is a warehouse in Avondale, which was locked up last week. Mail there was addressed to a Yuval Abes, who is listed as the sole shareholder of Dead Sea Beauty.

Neighbours said there were often young Israelis coming and going in a white van.
Bickle said Immigration NZ had identified the office manager who ran the kiosks, but was told the owner lived in Australia. He said the manager was warned that the kiosks could be staffed only by people entitled to work in New Zealand. Bickle said it was an offence to aid or abet anyone to breach the conditions of their visa and if done for material gain, carried a maximum penalty of seven years' jail and a $100,000 fine.

Wayne Madsen has a few articles on this, even recently near a US military base,
reports from different countries even, Canada, USA, now New Zealand,
this business is a cover for the Israelis, they are tied to other operations,
the Israeli Art Students that the DEA made a big deal of in a report and a leaked one
made it online, and back then you had all the Israeli kiosks in malls across the country
and they were wrapped up, they were selling Zoom Copters and toys, both scandals for
Israel are linked to 9/11 . Seems like they have plans for NZ ?

I bet they are Mossad.

I saw a couple Mossad agents at my local mall a few years ago.

I remember seeing two israeli-lookin' dudes speaking hebrew back and forth to each other while nonchalantly playing with a toy helicopter.

A few weeks later, I heard FoxNews ran a clip about israeli spies undercover as toy helicopter vendors in American malls.

I try to stay away from the mall anyway, but the next time I went back, they were gone. I was disappointed. I was wanting to point at them, and then loudly exclaim: "HEY LOOK! MOSSAD AGENTS!".

Hahahahaha!

Oh that 20/20 hindsight....

I really should have said or done something. It was extremely odd to me at the time. No one else in the mall seemed to notice them, but their hebrew jumped out at me. You don't hear hebrew much in Kentucky malls, or in Kentucky period. I wondered if they were mossad then, but had no reason to believe such other than the fact that they were jabbering back in forth in hebrew, and paying no attention to potential customers of their toy helicopter kiosk. lol.

Then a couple weeks later I heard about the FoxNews story so I looked it up on youtube and sure enough....

If I had a time machine, I would go back and blow the fuck out of their cover. Of course, if I had a time machine, they wouldn't have been there to begin with.... lol.

More Mossad spying in New Zealand: Zaka team used? (http://www.jeff-goodall.com/?p=5378)

“Three Israelis were among the 181 people who died when the earthquake destroyed most of Christchurch’s central business district on February 22. One was found to be carrying at least five passports.”

“An unaccredited Israeli search and rescue squad was later confronted by armed New Zealand officers and removed from the sealed-off ‘red zone’ of the central city.”

“The SIS officer said the agency was also aware of a comment posted on the website of the Russian newspaper Pravda that the Christchurch earthquake had disrupted an Israeli spy base in the city.”

This appears to be a breaking news story, and yet the Christchurch earthquake took place five months ago.

Obviously something extremely serious is going on here, involving suspicions Israeli agents may have planted a ‘back door’ into the national police computer database. It is possible a Zaka ‘search and rescue’ team was used as a cover. Such teams now exist in several countries, including Canada, to ‘assist’ local Emergency Measures organizations. They may well have been set up as potentially useful Mossad assets.

It will be interesting to see if New Zealand Prime Minister John Key will continue to maintain that “ it is not in the national interest for him to talk about it.”
In July 2004, New Zealand denounced Israel and imposed diplomatic sanctions after two suspected Mossad agents were jailed for six months for trying to falsely obtain New Zealand passports.

What does it take for people to wise up?
Jeff Goodall.

SIS on trail of suspected Israeli spies
The Southland Times – Stuff.co.nz
Fred Tulett: July 20th, 2011

LATEST: Prime Minister John Key is refusing to confirm details of an incident involving Israeli nationals, saying it is not in the national interest for him to talk about it.

The police national computer has been under scrutiny in the aftermath of the Christchurch earthquake in February because of fears Israeli agents loaded software into the system that would allow backdoor access to highly sensitive intelligence files.

The Security Intelligence Service ordered the checks as part of an urgent investigation of what one SIS officer described as the suspicious activities of several groups of Israelis during and immediately after the earthquake.
Three Israelis were among the 181 people who died when the earthquake destroyed most of Christchurch’s central business district on February 22. One was found to be carrying at least five passports.

An unaccredited Israeli search and rescue squad was later confronted by armed New Zealand officers and removed from the sealed-off “red zone” of the central city.

Speaking from Los Angeles this morning (NZ time) Key refused to answer when asked repeatedly if any Mossad agents had been involved, saying it was not in the national interest.

Key would not discuss if the SIS had investigated a security breach.
He insisted there had been no misuse of the police computer system or New Zealand passports by Israeli citizens.

He confirmed he was aware of an incident in the red zone, but would not discuss it.

Labour leader Phil Goff is calling on the Government to “come clean” about what it knows about suspicious activities of Israelis following the Christchurch earthquake.

That included why one of the Israelis was found to have five passports, he said. “This is not something that should be withheld from New Zealanders, we deserve to know.”

EVENTS AFTER THE QUAKE
The response of the Israeli government to the three deaths appears extraordinary. In the hours after the 6.3 quake struck:
Prime Minister John Key fielded the first of four calls that day from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Israel’s Ambassador in the South Pacific, Shemi Tzur, who is based in Australia, booked flights to Christchurch, where he visited the morgue.
Israel’s civil defence chief left Israel for Christchurch.
A complete Israeli urban search and rescue squad was assembled and flown to Christchurch, arriving about the same time as …
Three people who had smashed their way out of a van crushed by a concrete pillar in the central city, leaving a fourth person dead in the vehicle, arrived back in Israel.

Those four Israelis – Ofer Benyamin Mizrahi, 23, from Kibbutz Magal near Haifa, Michal Fraidman, Liron Sade and Guy Jordan – would later become a prime focus of the SIS investigation, along with the Israeli search and rescue squad and a group of forensic analysts from Israel that worked in the Christchurch morgue helping to identify earthquake victims.

The four, two men and two women, had been shopping in the central city on the morning of the earthquake and had returned to their van, parked in Gloucester St, when the quake hit. Mizrahi, the driver, was killed instantly, and Jordan, in the front passenger seat, smashed a window and climbed through the hole to escape. The two women, Fraidman and Sade, who were sitting in the back seat, also managed to crawl out.

They were unable to reach Mizrahi and, after taking photographs of the crushed van, made their way to Latimer Square, where Israeli officials had set up an emergency meeting point. Within 12 hours they had left New Zealand.
On Sunday, February 26, Mizrahi’s body was recovered from the van and taken to the morgue where, during routine identity checks, he was found to be carrying at least five passports.

Meanwhile, the search and rescue squad dispatched from Israel had arrived in Christchurch but the offer of help was rejected by New Zealand authorities because the squad did not have accreditation from the United Nations.
According to Israeli newspaper reports, the squad was being funded by the parents of two other Israelis killed in the earthquake, Ofer Levy and Gabi Ingel, both 22, who were said to be in New Zealand on a backpacking holiday. The parents made repeated public appeals for the Israeli team to join the rescue, appeals that were dismissed by the New Zealand authorities until squad members were discovered in the sealed off “red zone” of the central city.

It is understood the squad members were confronted by armed New Zealand officers and removed from the area. That confrontation is understood to have led to intense diplomatic exchanges between New Zealand and Israel, though police have refused to comment on the incident or even acknowledge that it occurred, and the Israeli ambassador says he had not been advised of any such incident.
Another Israeli group, a forensic analysis team sent by the Israeli government, was welcomed in Christchurch and worked on victim identification in the morgue.

However, the SIS also began to have suspicions about this group when it began investigating possible links between the cache of passports found with Mizrahi, the immediate flight of his three companions, the high-powered Israeli interest shown in the earthquake, the unexplained behaviour of the supposed “search and rescue squad” and a mysterious seventh Israeli, in New Zealand illegally, who was first reported missing in the quake and then, weeks later, was reported to have left the country. They were also interested in the Facebook tribute page set up for Mizrahi that has attracted only five “likes” in the more than four months it has been on the social media site.

When it was realised the forensic analysts could have accessed the national police computer database, an urgent security audit was ordered.
As the SIS officer explained, it would take only moments for a USB drive to be inserted in a police computer terminal and loaded with a program allowing remote backdoor access.

“We were concerned that could have happened,” the officer said.
“We carried out an urgent audit. If it had been done it would eventually have given the Israelis access to all of our intelligence.”

The national database holds all records of convictions, firearms licences, lost and stolen property, criminal behaviour and identifying marks and observations taken by police. It is capable of sophisticated searching and data matching. The officer said the audit had not identified any suspicious files so far, but a wider SIS investigation was continuing.

“It all looks suspicious, but a lot of what the Israelis do raises suspicion. So lots of smoke but we haven’t found any fires. The file remains open though.”
Intelligence agencies have become hypersensitive to sophisticated hacking after the malware “agent.btz” was infiltrated into the computer systems of United States Military Command three years ago.

The US believes Russian agents were responsible and Deputy Defence Secretary William Lynn has described it as “a digital beachhead” for a foreign intelligence agency to attempt to steal data. Attempts to remove the malware have so far been unsuccessful – new, more potent variations of agent.btz are still appearing.
The SIS officer said the agency was also aware of a comment posted on the website of the Russian newspaper Pravda that the Christchurch earthquake had disrupted an Israeli spy base in the city.

The Southland Times asked police national headquarters for comment on the actions and activities of various Israeli groups after the earthquake. After considering the request for nine days, the police issued a brief statement, attributed to Assistant Commissioner Malcolm Burgess, confirming that three Israelis had died in the earthquake, that the van in which Mizrahi died had been recovered and examined, that police had not been involved in the decision to exclude the Israeli search squad, and that “police do not discuss or disclose details of personal effects found with any of the 181 victims”.

Mr. Tzur, (mentioned earlier as Israel’s Ambassador in the South Pacific – JG), also approached for comment, said it was “science fiction” that any Mossad agents had been involved.
