Then you think wtf is he doing...then, you practically duck and pray at the same time. You see him go by just over your head, but don't hear him. Then the thunder sounds come next and almost knock you over. It's pretty awesome actually.

Yep, Had some F-4's in Thailand do supersonic passes at Ubon, when stationed there. WOW! In the vid that was a supersonic shock wave that was kicking up the water. That plane was right at the speed of sound.

Somewhat related, when working out in west tx, driving the back roads in the middle of nowhere, going to oil leases. The army would play act attacking my truck with their helicopters several times while living in the area. Spooky, those dam birds had all sorts of weapons hanging on them. And more spooky is that helmet sighted chain gun hanging off the bottom, tracking me as they would pass. :o
