Stopped at the coin store today, but I went in to sell instead of buy.

We're selling because we are in the process of buying a house with acreage. After all is said and done, I should have sold to APMEX. I would have gotten more FRNs in return there, even after including shipping to them.

I sold:
2 GAE - $1575 ea
5 1/10 Philharmonic - $157 ea
5 10oz .999 Silver bars - $38oz
7 1oz .999 Generic rounds - $38oz
2.3 gram 10k broken gold bracelet scrap - $56
Total: $6157

I sold today around 2:30 and think I hit the low spot in the day for the prices unfortunately but I will admit that I didn't get the best prices for them either.

I would suggest selling to APMEX and I think I will in the future before selling to this dealer again. Dealers are in short supply around here so there isn't many choices.

There were two other gentlemen in the shop that were only buying cases for morgan/peace dollars (the little cardboard and staple kind) and some hard plastic cases for SAEs. Shop was well stocked, better then I have seen it in a while. Plenty of junk silver and a decent supply of silver. Art bars, generic, SAE, etc.
Dealer keeps all gold in the back so you have to ask for it specifically -- not sure of supply there.

Actually, I think they gave you a fair price... it's too bad you could not hold it a little longer... great gains are coming

I agree with ximmy that great gains are coming in PMs, but a house with some acreage will see great gains too, it just might take a little longer. Congrats big country on your new land!
