Kids are told to save the ice to save the polar bears.
Meanwhile Canada's polar bear hunt continues to increase without quotas, as there is good money to be made exporting polar bear hides.

"Epoo Kasadluaq, coordinator of the hunters' support program in Inukjuak, Que., told CBC News that that given the high prices of polar bear hides, the hunt is bringing in much-needed income to his impoverished community..."
Much needed income - so there it is. It starts in northern Quebec and will trickle down to an economically collapsing neighborhood near you as time goes on. Eventually morality and ethics will also have their price. In the end, when people are on the street or in prison and have lost everything, think of the polar bears and how much needed income made people sell their own mothers. As for the bears at the zoo, it's sad to see artificial environments that will melt away much like the illusion of material prosperity.

I enjoyed watching those bears happily playing in the snow. I couldn't help but think that snow is going to just melt away, and those bears would still be stuck in that prison.
I would like to see those bears free..I'm sure they'd enjoy that snow just a bit more as free bears.
