There seems to be a noticeable uptick in interest in aquaponics and permaculture. Here locally 117 people signed up to a Meetup group regarding backyard farming using aquaponics and such.

If you're doing aquaponics, please sound off with your experiences. I'm just getting started with it.

Hydroponics is cool, but aeroponics is much, much cooler. For starters, each plant is completely isolated from the others, meaning any disease or fungus cannot be transmitted through roots or soil to other plants.

How is it going with your aquaponics? I am very interested in starting a little aquaponics area in my yard. Solar, with talapia, and fish poop to fertilize the garden.

But then I started reading GSUS again, so all productivity should fall off a cliff soon. ;-)

No need to start a new thread. Why not touch base with a few old friends in this thread.

What this guy thinks after two years of doing it, two years ago.
