This isnt a 100% protection, but is 1000% better than having nothing at all.

Six inches from the end of the door and six inches back drill a half inch hole on the floor for four inches, get a ten inch road bar that will fit in the hole.........you will be able to open the door for those six inches in safety and they wont be able to break the door down.......it helps if you have a steel door........total cost? about $1.50.
