Margin only $675...
I feel like Rip Van Winkle.
Anyone trading this? How are the fills? Bad? Good? Sloppy? Volume? Are there options on this contract, too?
Symbols would be appreciated on both futures and options. Thanks.
Thanks,
beefsteak
The 10-Ounce Gold Futures Contract's trading margin makes trading margins affordable.
For those that want to trade gold futures using smaller margins, this contract fits that need.
The E-Macro Gold Contract is 1/10th the size of the full sized futures contract. It contains 10 ounces.
A 10 ounce contract at today's margin level approximates an initial margin of approximately $675 per contract.
Margins are of course subject to change. The margin formula for this new Micro Gold Contract is based on this contract's margin being 1/10th the size of the full sized 100 ounce contract.
