The technical name of the program that Mack and Karches took advantage of is TALF, short for Term Asset-Backed Securities Loan Facility. But the federal aid they received actually falls under a broader category of bailout initiatives, designed and perfected by Federal Reserve chief Ben Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, called "giving already stinking rich people gobs of money for no fucking reason at all." this is one example for the reason they want the debt ceiling raised...

The few in charge NORMALLY funnel excess tax dollars to friends & family... now that the economy is suffering and there are fewer excess tax dollars, these people with their self-initiated entitlements do not believe they should suffer austerity...

What do ya think of that, Dogman? That they got the money? It sucks! It sort of proves that wall street owns the government. And all involved should have a concrete slab pored over them and a prison built on the slab.

True, but the point here is that they used their position of power over everyone, in order to help enrich only their friends......which is what makes it wrong.

The only way to get it undone was to have let it crash and burn.

Who knows maybe real families would have profited in far greater way than simply monetary life support.

Who knows maybe real families would have profited in far greater way than simply monetary life support. I do believe if it happens, that the ones that caused it and are not prosecuted for it. Should be put on a hit list and open season called on them.

Edited: The problem is it is the "real families" are the ones that are going to be hurt the most. IMHO!
