I have been looking at that one for a while I lost 2/3 of my LTFS in the divorce.

I thought it was a pretty good deal at 1400 compaired to most others out there.

It is a good deal, especially since they did all the work for you... I've been canning with friends at Family Home Storage. It's a good half day of work each time, but they don't have dried cheese or eggs or any meat.

Most of my LTFS came from Family home storage but there is not a whole lot of variety in fruits/vegetable and meat/dairy category but you do hit a home run on all the other stuff.

-Buddah see if your work will allow a palletized delivery. then overload the hell out of your car. I fit 15 cases in my 79 VW rabbit once uppon a time at the cannery.

I got the blue water barrel only from Costco here (http://gold-silver.us/forum/showthread.php?47133-Water-Storage&p=399785&viewfull=1#post399785).

Overall this is a good deal. and normally I'd do this, but I had to do my own thing since of my gluten allergy and need to stay the fuck away from soy. Stay away from that soy TVP shit (meat substitute), it's not worth it! The E-Foods direct thing actually wasn't that bad price/diversitywise now in hindsight, though they had shitty service since they had so much demand with too small of a staff. The problem with E-Foods Direct is they don't give you any freeze dried meats. I had to go here (http://beprepared.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_FN%20Q099_A_name_E_Provident%20 Pantry%C2%AE%20Freeze%20Dried%20Meat%20Combo) to get meat.

The water option is a new addition to this 'sale'. We checked into it when it first came out (w/o the rain barrel), and decided it wasn't for us. Too much TVP (high soy content as mentioned), 'instant' white rice usually has gobs of MSG added to ("enriched"), etc.

DYYDD & beware.
