I never bought a monster box , foolish me,
in 2008 the smaller retail purchases were taken
off the market almost overnight, people could of
still got some monster boxes on smack down, but very
soon after they too were taken off the market,
we documented this with screens from APMEX
mostly, they didn't sell out, just wanted to keep
their silver, that was an opportunity I missed, but
got others. I bought most of my physical in may 2006,
and paid an average of 16.50, 2-3 over spot.

I don't know what a "monster box" is but the most silver that I bought at one time was 4,000 oz or 4 five gallons full...I believe that the price was of $7.65 per........does that qualify as a "monster bucket?" hahahahahahahaha.

I learned never to use a monster box as an anchor, learned that the hard way. Seemed like a great idea at the time...I'm sure it's still down there somewhere, maybe I'll go out there for another look.

I have never bought a 500-coin silver Eagle monster box. I could not afford one back then and I sure as heck cannot afford one now. I only have one SAE and it is a 1996 SAE that I bought for $38.00 (spot was around $35 at that time).
Even though I could not afford to buy a SAE monster box back then, the good news for me is that I started buying 1-oz silver art bars 3 years ago in August 2008 and I got hooked since then. The time period from 2009 to early 2010 was my best time period as a silver art bar collector because I found and bought a lot of rare and semi-rare silver art bars that I wanted during that time span. Every once in a while, I also take some time out and look at, for example, a couple of silver art bars that I bought in early 2009 for $17 and I tell myself that I have seen some of these sell on ebay for $10-$20 (or more) over current spot silver price (about $50-$60). I am just amazed on how lucky I felt when I got hooked on silver art bars at that time. My desire for collecting silver art bars, especially rare silver art bars, is stronger now than it was 3 years ago when I became a silver art bar collector.
Just for the record, I am just a silver art bar collector. I am not a serious bullion stacker and I just buy what I like and do not mind paying a collector's premium for it if necessary.

not 1 pack of 36....
not 2 packs of 36....
But 3.... YES 3!!!! packs of 36 rolls of TP for one easy payment of a bucket of silver.

For TP? Naahhh.... not a chance. Here are the reasons:
1. I won't be here.
2. You won't be here.
3. I can use leaves, weeds, water, sand, and FRNs instead of TP.
4. Smelly butts are good to have for the TSA agents.

I know that! He has no need for his own TP too! But when you are dealing with a hoarder, you know their weakness.
Speaking of which..... hey Ponce, there is a time limit on this offer. And if you order in the next 4 hours, you will get a special free roll, individually wrapped and uncirculated. Just say the word and our courier will deliver the finest TP in the world for your low low price of a bucket of worn and primitive silver coins.

Ponce has a 3 roll tp "debt" that he is carrying, however, he will be completely "debt free" once I collect my 3 rolls of tp from him. :)

By the way Awoke, she only has 1,749 rolls.......I have one more than she heheheheheheheheheheh.
By the way, Agnut told me to write about it, while in Korea the GI's had all the tp that we needed but the KATUSA, korean army, had only one roll per month so that they treated it like gold and protected it more than their own sister.

Actually I think you meant to say that I will gain 3 rolls of tp since silver will NOT hit $50 this year. Everybody on this forum secretly knows (but may not acknowledge "in public") that I am right when I say "Silver will NOT hit $50 in 2011". :) :) :) I cannot wait until December 31, 2011 when I "officially" remind Ponce that he has racked up a 3 roll tp "debt" to me and I will kindly remind him that it is time to pay up. Of course, I will give Ponce plenty of time (until 4-1-2012) to pay off that tp "debt" since losing 3 rolls of tp in a "betting accident" can be a very traumatic event for a person that cherishes tp like the tp king himself. :) :) :)
I do not know which is worst but I will venture a guess by saying that losing 3 rolls of tp in a "betting accident" is much worse than losing 1000 oz's of silver in a boating accident. After all, tp is much more valuable than that DOG of a white metal called silver. :)

Up until last week I thought for sure that silver was going to break $50 this year, for sure. I was convinced.
Until I saw Gold cross $1800 and silver moved down to $38.
I am pissed at the manipulators. You might win this bet you have with Ponce, Josey, but if you do, it is only because of the manipulators, not because silver is being allow to fly free like it should be.

I am not really mad at the manipulators because this gives me a little while longer to continue to buy silver art bars that I like at the local level and at coin shows at an "artificial" price. When I win my bet with Ponce, it will be because JPM (and others) do not want silver to approach $50/oz. There is no doubt in my mind that silver has been manipulated last week when gold was breaking all-time records. Once day AFTER 2011, silver will become strong enough to eventually break the JPM shorts "chain" and will easily surpass $50.

Yeah I remember. I meant to get back with you on that well before now. Correct me if I am wrong but there were some art bars that you told me about. I remember one of the bars that you told me about and it turned out that when I looked at my silver art bar collection, I already had one of the particular silver art bars that you were telling me about. I'm sorry for not responding back to you in a timely fashion. :-[
EDIT: I am very picky on which silver art bars that I like to add to my silver art bar collection. It took me nearly a year to come up with a silver art bar "wish list" of silver art bars that I am looking to find and add to my collection. It took me 2+ years to find some of the rare silver art bars at local coin shops and area flea markets but the good news there is that I paid anywhere from spot to $2 over spot for most of the rare and semi-rare silver art bars that I found locally. A lot of the rare silver art bars that I could never find locally, I found on ebay but the downside to that is that that I paid a "collector's premium" for them on ebay. I do not regret paying a "collector's premium" for the rare silver art bars on ebay because I love these silver art bars very much and I am happy with them. When it comes to buying (bidding) rare silver art bars on ebay, I buy what I like and I buy the silver art bars that are on my silver art bar wish list.
