BELLEVILLE, Ont. - A resident of Belleville, Ont., was so concerned about a suspicious vehicle this morning she called police about one of their own.
Belleville police have been placing an emphasis recently on the public reporting suspicious people and vehicles in their neighbourhoods.
A homeowner in the east end of Belleville noted a vehicle being driven slowly through her neighbourhood about 3:30 a.m.
The driver parked on the street and stayed inside.
The homeowner called police, and was told the driver of the suspicious vehicle was a Belleville police zone officer watching for suspicious activity. (CJTN)

I think this is great - I wish more people would call their local PDs to report suspicious activity from undercover cops.

you know, when i was a teenager, i friend of mine and i were smoking a couple of joints behind the local humane society one evening when a squad car came around the back of the building. they caught us clean, and they said they would "do us a favor", and merely confiscate our stash rather than charging a couple of minors. we were quite happy to skate from the whole ordeal and promptly handed our bag over...maybe a couple of grams. they let us walk, and about 20 minutes later, we were on our way past the humane society again, and saw that they were still sitting there, and we could smell our weed being happily smoked by those 2 S.O.B.'s...lol
Oh well, at least we didn't get charged with possession!! lol

I have decided that everytime I see a cop speeding or talking on their cel phone in the car, I am going to write down the license plate and report them to the police.
