I just like to mess with Ponce especially ever since we have a tp bet going. Ponce usually starts a lot of threads. Some of them are duplicate threads and some of them are not. If Ponce starts, for example, 7 threads in one day on a day (such as today) that does not have many people on the boards, then it is somewhat difficult (if not impossible) to get some responses from all 7 threads that he started on a day that does not have many posters logged in. That does NOT make Ponce a bad person and besides some members just like to read only and not post anything.

As for announcing that he is going to take some time off.........................Well that is up to him but it is not necessary to announce on the boards that you are going to take some time off. Like I said in an earlier post, there is nothing wrong with taking a break from here (or from any other forum). IMO I do think that Ponce is becoming way too sensitive to temporarly leave GSUS just because nobody does not post on one of the many threads that he starts.

I think that the main purpose to start threads is to put out information for people to digest. There is no obligation for a poster to post on a thread that a poster is not interested in posting in. Freedom of choice is just as important as freedom of speech in my opinion.

Here is the story of The TP King and the Silver Art Bar man..................

Once upon a time, there was an internet living legend that was a tp king named Ponce. He was the greatest tp king to live on the internets. He was soooooooo proud of the tp collection that he built up that he bragged about it to everybody that listed to him. Despite the size of his tp stash, the ego of the tp paper king was much larger than his tp stash. Then one day in April of this year, there was some regular internet guy known as the Silver Art Bar Man that boldy "said" on the internets that silver will NOT hit $50 in 2011. The Tp king "heard" this and strongly disagreed with the Silver Art Bar Man. The Tp King known as Ponce challenged the Silver Art Bar man to a toilet paper bet and wanted to bet 3 rolls of tp.

The Silver Art Bar Man agreed to the bet with the TP king. After the 3 roll tp bet was made, the back and forth jabs between the Silver Art Bar man and the TP king were continuing during that month of April and silver was continuing to go up...........To $40............To $42............To $44..............but the Silver Art Bar man refused to back down and the TP king was taunting him saying that he will be wrong and will have to give him 3 rolls of tp. Silver kept going up............to $45...............To $46............The Silver Art Bar Man still refused to back down from his "Silver will NOT hit $50 in 2011" gut feeling prediction. Back and Forth the "verbal jabs" continued and silver was still going up.........$47........$48..............$49. Just when it appeared that the Silver Art Bar Man would lose the bet with the tp king, the silver price coughed and sputtered and coughed and sputtered some more to make it to $49.85 but the silver price was trying very hard to hit $50 and just when it was on the verge of hitting $50, the following happened.........................

Yep.......that was the sound of silver getting bitch-slapped by JPMorgan and in the 1st week of May, silver crashed down from the $49.85 high and the TP king's confidence was shaken and the Silver Art Bar man ended up winning 3 rolls of tp from the tp king. Since the year 2011 was not over yet and it appeared that the Silver Art Bar Man was going to easily win the tp bet against the tp King, the Silver Art Bar Man decided to "remind" the TP king that 3 rolls of tp are due. The Silver Art Bar man made some early attempts to collect those 3 rolls of tp but those collection attempts ended up being failures. However, the Silver Art Bar man will not give up on collecting 3 rolls of tp from the TP king. Since the Silver Art bar man was a nice person, then he decided to give the TP King plenty of time by setting a deadline of April 1, 2012 to pay off his 3-roll TP "debt".

Then one day on August 12, 2011, the TP king had to "take off for while" saying that there were not enough people that were interested in the threads he started. When the Silver Art Bar Man saw this "annoucement", he refused to believe the "offical" reason for the TP King "taking off for a while". The Silver Art Bar man thinks that the real reason that the TP king decided to take off was because the TP king lost 3 rolls of tp in a "betting accident" when he painfully realized that.........

..........silver was really NOT going to hit $50 in 2011. When this realization hit him, then the TP King's "larger-than-life" ego took a massive beating after the realization that the Silver Art Bar man pulled off the near impossible by winning the tp bet against the TP King.
