FUCK the D H S. Yep. I said it. Come pay me a visit ASSHOLES.
Ever heard of FREEDOM OF SPEECH? The 1st Amendment? The thing that wise and great men fought and died for? The right for a man to speak his thoughts without reprecautions. You communist GOONS.
The right to speak freely is the shining crowned jewel that this country was founded on, and these fucksticks throw it away like its toilet paper.
Do you know how many humans in the entire history of earth have died for speaking their mind? All cultures, all races, all religions. Heads cut off, bodies burned, torture for days. Speaking freely has been hazardous to your health for the last 6000 years, THAT is why America is special. THAT is the reason what we have is worth preserving.
FUCK IM MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand your perspective, but this ad isn't criminalizing or threatening to criminalize any speech, it's just saying to teenagers to think twice before texting "your sister sleeps around" to your school friends.

it's from the "ushomelandsecurity" channel. that's the US government, DHS.
it's ironic that this genuinely Evil Agency, born in the Womb of Israel - SISTER AGENCY OF THE CHILD GROPING AGENCY, The TSA - is counseling teenagers, to be nice & thoughtful when they're online.
it's like Amy Winehouse delivering an abstinence message ... from beyond the grave.
it's like Johnny (Jack Nicholson from The Shining) delivering a knife-safety message.
it's like Wilt Chamberlain delivering a sexual abstinence message.
it's like Hugh Hefner delivering a "dress modestly" message.

And you dont think that is setting up a pretense for speech correctness? Which moves into the next phase > Speech Restrictions. This is being done to our young children on purpose to destroy their own free spirit and will.
The DHS had a massive propaganda campaign which involved citizens making their own videos to promote certain topics (Like 'See something, say something'.) This one BLATANTLY targets the freedom of speech. Go watch some of the other ones where people actually used their own children as trophies to push this Satanic agenda.

And Michael Vick delivering a "dog fighting is bad" message.
The very beginning "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. Is it still true?" Only if you make it true! If we teach our kids what we have taught them for generations then yes, if you change that to "you need to sue someone or send them to jail for them telling you, you look fat", then that will be the society we live in.

I'll bet the Stop-Think-Connect chick has some wicked sexual fetishes behind that proper Arlington-looking dress and hairdo. Working for Satan to mold rubbery young minds totally destroys the desire to do her though. Just think - in ten years young people will consider being a rat fink a badge of honor. Ed "Big Daddy" Roth will be turning in his grave.

Should that be ok to do?
In a "HS" kinda way, that vid is saying the same thing Fred once said. Smartest thing he ever posted, actually. lol
Everyone should read and FULLY UNDERSTAND the Supreme Court of the United States ruling known as Brandenburg v. Ohio. So, know the law, and THINK before you post. - PDT
My question about the vid would be, how does putting out this type of message fall under DHS duties?

It is all part of the Cyber bullying and hate speech laws that they are pushing. Total bullshit fearmongering.

I'm with suijuris on this one, 1000%. This is obvious propaganda and in time this will used in the usual 'mission creep' theme to restrict criticizing criminals.

If by using WORDS you are trying to say that someone has been 'injured', then NO. You are wrong. And yes, all words spoken by all people are OK.
Are you in High School?
It held that government cannot punish inflammatory speech unless it is directed to inciting and likely to incite imminent lawless action (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imminent_lawless_action).And guess what Mr smarty pants, the US Supreme Court was WRONG, and you know it.
Have you ever heard of this little quaint line:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

You just posted a US SC court case that stated the Government can restrict Free Speech. Then you ask how this falls under the DHS duties? Are you for real?
Some people here may not see how you operate, but it wont work on me. You will be called out on your hypocritical stances and blatant anti-Individual comments.

Is it legal to yell "fire" into a crowded theater?
Besides, the video wasn't saying it was illegal to text your friend to say bad things about his sister, but rather saying what PDT said.
ie think before you post/text/speak.
As far as the Supreme Court being wrong, under the current regulatory system it is the Supreme Courts job to interpret the laws and how the Constitution is interpreted.
I don't necessarily agree with the latter, but under the current system that's what they do.
ie interpret what the so-called living Constitution actually means.

How do you feel about the ad campaign "Knock It Off"? Personally, I think it's a load of crap. I will say "that's gay" if I damn well please.

It seems as though they made this vid about internet bullying by school kids.
What I was asking is why would they even make a video about such a topic, as it doesn't seem to be related to national security.
Some people here may not see how you operate, but it wont work on me. You will be called out on your hypocritical stances and blatant anti-Individual comments.I wasn't being hypocritical at all. I merely pointed out that it's not a bad idea to ask people to think about what they say before they say it.
Which is what PDT {Fred} was saying in the quote of his I used.

My first thought was: Holy crap, are we all complete wusses? Do we really need a video like that? (I use the term "we" loosely, of course. Not "we" as in GSUS, but "we" as in everyone.)
My second thought was: How about parents stop giving these tools to their children who are too immature to handle the tools? If your child is a "cyberbully", he is not mature enough to conduct himself appropriately online. If your child freaks out and cries because someone didn't like her dress, she is too immature to handle herself online. Pretty simple.
But everyone is too busy to be a parent. Everyone is too busy working or watching TV. "Choose your battles", I have heard a million times. This isn't a war, people, it's parenting!
Sorry for my rant but I tend to think almost everything comes down to parenting. No, I don't have any children, which admittedly makes me somewhat like a hypocrite . . . but not quite . . . more like a armchair quarterback.

Here is another example of how these STASI agents operate. I could hardly stomach this video, the Founders are rolling in their graves.....
Vid breakdown: All whites are terrorist, everybody spy on everybody, your neighbor is guilty, and the STATE is God.
Dont forget to read the comments! All 2600 of them......

the video talks about white terrorists and Muslim terrorists.
doesn't say a word about Jewish terrorists - the most frequent & by far the most violent type.
well, i guess it did mention them.
during that part where it mentioned "intelligence analysts."

I can see where many of you see it as a freedom of speech issue. In a "slippery slope" kind of way, it is. I see it as a nanny state kind of issue, which is similar. Freedom of speech wasn't in my first two reactions from watching it. I saw the message of the video as "play nice, mean little children, because people are extremely fragile."
The "knock it off" message that muffin referred to is most certainly a freedom of speech issue. That's the campaign that tells us not to say "that's gay" in a derogatory way. My feeling on that is that homosexuals took the word gay from meaning "happy" to meaning "homosexual", so they shouldn't be hypocrites when anyone else uses the word gay for whatever reason.
