I shit you not, this is the reason given for the stock market "weakness" today.
Paraphrasing.
Earnings worries were the concern. People are not spending enough and that has investors worried. And here is an interview with a woman who said she was not going to buy a new car and not get the dent fixed on her current one was interviewed. She also isn't going to have major repairs done to her house either.
Coming up the Weather.

I should have added that this was a radio news spot. I think it was a Faux News break, but I don't remember. I was listening to an out of state station.

No, stocks aren't risky because of the blatant corruption, because the SEC is staffed by Goldman-Sachs, because of a global financial meltdown due to debt-based currency and the top sucking from the bottom, no, it's just because certain CEOs are pilots and take risks. Glad they got that figured out for us.
