The FDD, Who We Are (http://www.defenddemocracy.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=516504&Itemid=374)

The Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) is a non-partisan policy institute dedicated exclusively to promoting pluralism, defending democratic values, and fighting the ideologies that threaten democracy.

FDD was founded shortly after 9/11 by a group of visionary philanthropists and policymakers to support the defense of democratic societies under assault by terrorism and militant Islamism. Our Leadership Council of Distinguished Advisors includes former FBI Director Louis J. Freeh, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former State Department Under Secretary Paula Dobriansky, Forbes CEO Steve Forbes, former National Security Advisor Robert “Bud” McFarlane, former Ambassador Max Kampelman, Weekly Standard Editor William Kristol, Sen. Joe Lieberman (ID-CT), and former CIA Director R. James Woolsey.

Those affiliated with FDD come from many backgrounds and political perspectives, but all believe:

• No one should be denied basic human rights, including minority rights, women’s rights, and religious freedom.

• Free and democratic nations have a right to defend themselves and an obligation to defend one another.

• Terrorism, the deliberate use of violence against civilians to achieve political objectives, is always wrong and must never be condoned.

A think tank with a solid track record of transforming ideas into actions that get results, FDD uniquely combines policy research, counterterrorism and democracy education, strategic communications, and investigative journalism.

The Foundation for Defense of Democracies focuses its efforts where opinions are formed and, ultimately, where the war of ideas will be won or lost: in the policy community, in the media, on college campuses, and in the courthouse, both at home and abroad.

Obama has expanded the wars and fulfilled PNAC NeoCon policy
waging war on new countries even. NeoCons never went away.

This is why they hate Ron Paul.

Ron Paul on NeoCons, see his article too, " you are being conned. "

" change in political party has not made a difference,
who is really in charge. "

DMac, you got some key threads here, again on antiwar.com, your thread.

US Gov spying on Americans - The FBI vs Antiwar.com (http://gold-silver.us/forum/showthread.php?53357-US-Gov-spying-on-Americans-The-FBI-vs-Antiwar.com)

My comments on Raimondo outing the NeoCons, they have
a few of these " committees ", " foundations " going, they wind them down,
restart them, some interesting history here going back,
Raimondo has covered them like nobody else in his
articles on NeoCons. They use them to make money too,
they solicit cash and do PR for countries, they were
PR men for Turkey, for the Chechens, for the Albanians.
Perle is always involved and he has many conflicts of interests,
remember he was forced to resign from a war board early.

Sibel Edmonds keeps saying, " it is all the same people ".
All these same people are involved in all of these.

AEI is their main organization they operate out of.
They got lots of money for all of this.

Pat Buchanan , " they pay salaries . "

Paul Craig Roberts , " there is nothing American about the american enterprise institute " .
