(I wasn't sure where to put this . . . health and fitness? I don't think we have a colloidal silver section here.)

One of my chihuahua babies (Dagny) has some sort of chronic bronchitis that began shortly after my return home in April. Her grandfather (Trystan) had just died from congestive heart failure, and her symptoms are the same as his were (unproductive cough and furball type of gag), but the cause is different. Her heart is fine, thank goodness.

Dagny has taken two rounds of different types antibiotics for her bronchitis that were unsuccessful. She is now on a diuretic to help relieve the fluid in her lungs. It's the same diuretic that Trystan was taking at the end of his life, so it freaks me out. Unfortunately the coughing gets worse at night. Every time she coughs I wake from my sleep, afraid that I will lose her also in the middle of the night.

I found a yahoo group, called Silver Pets, and they advocate using a nebulizer with colloidal silver to cure lung infections. I am about ready to try it for my little girl's health, and for the sake of my sleep.

Has any ever done this?

I have used a nebulizer with Hydrogen peroxide, seem to remember there is a video/article on that...

nebulizers are wild, its like this clearish smoke.....

Let me dig around, it was a good article on using them, and I think they talked about colloidal silver also

Do it, as a matter of fact Agnut is trying to put it in ALL hospitals......it works better than all that junck that they give you.

I drink it myself and I am still alive........I think.

The tricky part is going to be how to get her to breathe it in. She's not the most cooperative of my kids . . . actually, they are all equally uncooperative. Trystan was the only cooperative one, RIP.

If I put her in a box, it will be like punishment, and I don't want that. Maybe I can take her under the covers with me and we'll both do it.
