I got the impression he was unaware of the composition of the 'water' before he got in it, but the foamy aspect of it would have given me pause. But, the show must go on and he preserved until the end of the shot despite the fact that it finally dawned on him early on what he had immersed himself in. What a showman!

"Sea foam" is basically shit, largely protein, it's the broken down waste product of all the sea life. Salt water aquarium keepers know what a protein-skimmer is, a common component in filter systems, it's designed to pull that foamy organic scum out of the water.

so indeed, that stoic reporter got the poo on him,

A budding young Walter Cronkite if I've ever seen one.
Re his Sep-'11 FL hurricane warning, I wonder if TPTB aren't channeling through young Frankie, tipping their hand as to their next really big thing?

I guess its hard to convince the people to be scared of the big bad storm, when you have naked dancing teenagers running across the screen. The news reporter wanted so badly to have a doom and gloom report, complete with desolate streets and strong winds in his hair. Looks like it backfired.
You got to love live reporting. Something that will be used less and less as the illusion projected by the system is slowly dismantled.

I had to watch it three times to see the weenie. I enjoyed watching the guy pretending to run in slow motion (or pretending to run against the wind, more likely), so I kept missing it.
