Sui Juris, I thought it was individuals fed income taxes that go directly to the interest on the debt and corporate income taxes pay for most of the rest of gov expeditures.

Please correct me as I really don't know a lot about welfare money in the fed/state budgets but I had always thought welfare came from the state coffers. Do these checks come from the US Treasury?
