The only trouble is that the gold bar they show as proof the gold is there , isnt there now apparently.
Which means everything is normal in gold land, the slight of hand continues.

I know, is that not hilarious....
a few minute PR stunt, and they cannot get enough truth in there....
sadly most people watching it, will take it at face value....

It's like back in the day when the banks would fill a barrel with nails and then the top layer would be gold coins. A handful of those barrels in the vaults did a lot to console the worried people that their gold was indeed there.

Now that incadescent lightbullbs are outlawed, they have to find uses for all of that surplus tungsten.

What gets me is not just the grandeur of this PR stunt by HSBC who is in deep financial insolvency trouble like all the other major banks with dirty hands and filthy balance sheets, GLD's "fine print" has been taken to the woodshed by Turk, Embry, SINCLAIR. This whole "you show me yours and I'll show you mine" stunt masquerading as a "series" when it fact it is an infomercial, is a glittering freakshow.
Any physical bullion gold holder can take a "tour of stacks" of London Good Delivery Bars and claim they belong to this custodian or that custodian. And arrange a "hands on tour." That proves nothing.
All it says is that the viewing public are gullible...because......as Ponce says,
"if you don't hold it, you don't own it."
And HSBC "don't own it." Nor does the GLD custodian for that matter. That is someone else's gold, aka the building owner who has physical possession of it.
Glitter vs truth. Once again. >:(>:(>:(
