Play a game of how many miles can you get truckers to log in a week while paying them double their usual rate?
The classic story of how FEMA shuttled 91,000 tons of bagged ice around the country after Katrina.

I don't know about Katrina but after Charlie we always heard these stories about the phantom FEMA ice trucks somewhere in the vicinity heading our way with all the ice you needed, though we never saw the 1st one. Some dude working for FEMA came in the liquor store to buy a pint and gave me a kickass tarp.

If I had a spare $100,000,000 I'd spend it on obtaining as much freedom from interference by other humans as possible. A well defended and stockpiled island somewhere outside of U.S. territory sounds about right... or maybe a salvage scrap diesel powered aircraft carrier...
