I hate to burst the bubble of those of you who think that Dr. Paul 'can' pull this off, but unless and until critical mass is achieved it ain't gonna happen. As some of you know, I was in the thick of it 4 years ago. Because of the extent of my involvement I happened to get to know some of the people in the loop so to speak. I've been in regular contact with these people who are in a position to gauge the level of support. I'll just say this - the level of support in the Ron Paul Meetup groups is a fraction of what it was four years ago. One of my contacts who has the data before him on a routine basis is *not* very optimistic. It's difficult to pinpoint exactly what's causing this, but we need (a) miracle(s). I know what needs to be done, but I'm not in a position to throw down the resources to pull it off. If anyone knows a well-heeled 'white knight' who is interested in a very highly leveraged position to get something positive and concrete done with respect to spooling up critical mass, PM me.

I hate to agree with you on this, but I feel the same way. It is much easier to prevent someone from succeding, especially when the majority opposses you and easily in this day and age when everyone goes with the flow and watches their MSM gods in teevee telling them so & so is the perfect candidate for you and keeps others in the dark. I too feel support for RP was much greater in 2008 than now, I traveled TX before the primaries & before Nov 2008 elections and remember several parts of TX knowing about RP(met him personally in FT.Worth) *except for W.TX (those peeps are sheep to the bone), lately I've done the same. No talk of RP in N.TX(Dallas), East TX or South, only in Austin areas now, wtf? We need a miracle indeed!!
