Both parties are in on the charade, and Obama can be seen as the calm before the storm depending on your perspective. Nothing should be surprising anymore as far as things surfacing to discredit him. In fact, mounting evidence in that regard can be seen as a strategic play. You're hinting on something I've been thinking of myself. Following the left-right paradigm, 'they' seem to be causing a rift within the DemRat party. Possibly to usher in a different candidate (sHillary) for 2012?
