Stupid cannot even account for it.

I have highlighted the name.

Authorities in central Illinois have charged three people, including a 15-year-old boy, with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old Decatur man.

The (Decatur) Herald & Review ( http://bit.ly/qnfJaA) reports that court documents indicate Billy Rutherford was killed because the suspects thought he was stealing drug money and had threatened the teen's life.

Rutherford was pronounced dead at the scene on Aug. 29 after Decatur police officers found his body lying in an alley.

Prosecutors in Macon County formally charged 15-year-old Shitavious Cook as an adult Thursday. Also charged are 28-year-old Felton Estes and 35-year-old Demeco Hill. Cook is being held at a juvenile detention center, while the men are in the Macon County Jail.

It isn't immediately clear if the defendants have attorneys.

That was funny! There used to be a page I went to called Crazy Black Names It had a list of strange black names that he had seen in his life. He had a disclaimer -- "No street names, police blotters, etc." only things on birth cert. and official ID, etc

That was his former occupation. More than likely it was thug in training.

often parents try to honor their ancestors by naming children after the ancestors.

so if this kid's parents had an ancestor named Shitavius, it may have been as simple as that.

it may also have been a cross-cultural thing.

there's probably some American names that translate into other cultures as "bloody dog phlegm" or something like that.
