"The IDF has an image of strength. Reality is different. Those judging weapons by their number commit a serious error; an intentional one as part of the IDF intimidation tactic is: “we have hundreds of American fighters, you can’t win.” Mmm... Let’s see the real picture; what are the IDF weak points:

-. An army too big for its country. A “rush hour” effect during the organization of the army for a war would transform most main roads into a long caravan of useless steel. We have all seen pictures of unmoving Israeli tanks on the Lebanese mountainous roads. Moreover, tanks within Israel are transported on semi-trailers and are thus dead weight.

-. Narrow corridors force the army to move through certain roads. I did write recently about the importance of Ariel in the defense of a second corridor between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

-. One continuous front. This can be solved with a Vertical Bypass (*), but the last can be blocked.

-. Hostile islands in the form of Palestinian cities demanding a strong policing presence of the IDF.

-. Strategic concentration of forces in a few central points. (*)

-. Limited amounts of weapons; without a massive infusion of American armaments during a total conflict the IDF can fight only a given amount of days. (*)

i have to disagree there. Israel has been receiving $2 to $3 Billion a year for about 50 years from the US, with one primary string attached - that they spend the money on American war-toys.

Plus Israel has their own military contractors - and lots of them, for a small country.

about a year ago, there was a news article about a MASSIVE deposit of munitions in Israel by the US. it could have been psy-ops, but i don't think Sorcha or Debka was the source ... i think it might have been real.

i think this is the one advantage that Israel has, besides the brainwashing of their own citizens and their nukes. they really do have a force multiplier effect, via high-tech. they are a world leader in drone technology.

i think Israel's weak point is their dependence on the US as the Big Bully to protect them.

now that Israel attacked the US on 9-11, continuing support of Israel hinges on keeping the truth about 9-11 buried.

ultimately, i think Israel's greed, viciousness, & traitorousness will turn out to be its Achilles Heel.

when the American public gets real about Israel, then i will buy some popcorn.

I posted this before..........there is in the state of Israel a five block square warehouse that is full of US weapons, they are there just in case the US has to go to that part of the world in a emergency........of course the state of Israel is permitted to use them themselves in case of an "emergency"........ as we all know by now they are in a state of emergency 24/7.

3 million scared greedy spiritually impaired Israeli Jews (neurotic pyschopaths) vs.

1 Billion enraged olive farmers, sheepherders, and thousands of wealthy oil sheiks.

it's a Master's or PhD project for a good engineer to build a weapon delivery system that can bypass Israel's paranoid soldiers & "Iron Dome" missile defense system.

combine that with some Russian or Pakistani or Indian (remember Mumbai ? they do) rogue military group and then - use your imagination.

because that's what they will do.

Israel will kill a lot of Arabs, as they already have, but their vulnerability & bad neighbor policies guarantee that the region will fester as a police state designed to keep Israel's neighbors from attacking it.

however few designs are perfect, even Israel's design for their Judeo-fascist police state.

eventually Israel's neighbors will mortally wound Israel.

personally i would say that Israel is already dead.

I liked the ending of that story!

In 1980, one of McElroy's children got into an argument with a clerk in a local grocery store owned by 70-year-old Ernest "Bo" Bowenkamp and his wife, Lois, allegedly because her younger sister tried to steal some candy. McElroy began stalking the Bowenkamp family, and eventually threatened Bo Bowenkamp in back of his store with a shotgun in hand. In the ensuing confrontation, McElroy shot Bowenkamp in the neck; Bowenkamp survived, and McElroy was arrested and charged with attempted murder. McElroy was convicted at trial of assault, but freed on bail pending his appeal. Immediately after being released, McElroy had gone to the local bar, the D&G Tavern with an M1 rifle, making graphic threats of what he would do to Mr. Bowenkamp.[10] This led to several patrons deciding to see what they could legally do to prevent McElroy from harming anyone else. Nodaway County Sheriff Dan Estes suggested they form a Neighborhood Watch.
On the morning of July 10, 1981, after his appeal hearing was again delayed, townspeople met at the Legion Hall in the center of town with Sheriff Estes to discuss how to protect themselves. During the meeting, McElroy arrived at the D&G Tavern with Trena. As he sat drinking at the bar, word got back to the men at the Legion Hall that he was in town. After telling the assembled group not to get in a direct confrontation with McElroy, but instead seriously consider forming a Neighborhood Watch Program, Sheriff Estes jumped in his police cruiser and drove out of town. The citizens decided to go to the tavern en masse. The bar soon filled completely. After McElroy finished his drinks, he purchased a six pack of beer, left the bar, and entered his pickup truck. While McElroy was sitting in his truck he was shot at several times and hit twice, once by a high powered rifle, and once by a .22 rimfire rifle. In all, there were 46 potential witnesses to the shooting, including Trena McElroy, who was in the truck with her husband when he was shot. Only Trena claimed to identify a gunman; every other witness either was unable to name an assailant or claimed not to have seen who fired the fatal shots.[11] The DA declined to press charges. An extensive Federal investigation did not lead to any charges.
On July 9, 1984, Trena McElroy filed a $6 million wrongful death lawsuit against the Town of Skidmore, County of Nodaway, Sheriff Danny Estes, Steve Peters (Mayor of Skidmore), and Del Clement (whom Trena accused of being the shooter, but who was never charged). The case was later settled out of court by all parties for the sum of $17,600, with no one admitting guilt, for the stated reason of avoiding costly legal fees should the suit proceed.[12]
