I just bought one of these from over the pond:

What seems to be a simple color-changing process is actually the result of sensitive circuitry that uses a process called electron tunneling to measure quantum-scale probabilistic events—the kind of events shown to be subject to the influence (http://www.mind-lamp.com/mind-lamp-reviews.php) of the mind.there's now an overwhelming body of evidence to show that psi effects (characterised as telepathy, remote viewing, precognition, psychokinesis, and psychic healing), while small, are repeatable over 1000s (http://noosphere.princeton.edu/onepage.html) of experiments, a good overview of the current state of this field (there are about 15 people working in English-speaking academia in this field globally from what I can see):

I find this stuff fascinating because of the implications; the materialistic viewpoint breaks down when faced with documented evidence for events like precognition and telepathy. I look at stuff like Prof. John Lorber's research (http://www.science-frontiers.com/sf015/sf015p14.htm) on people who entirely don't have brains and are entirely normal in conjunction with this kind of research, and it's hard not to conclude that our consciousness is something that we tune in to, rather than generate. Assuming that the mindlamp works, there's a piece of technology that breaks the Newtonian paradigm (which yes I know is at least 100 years out of date anyway, but is nevertheless the prevailing worldview of the public)...very cool that there are people engineering machines that interact with human consciousness in obvious and repeatable ways.
