I am going to say $2 trillion+

seem to remember the budget deficit alone is over a trillion, like 1.5 trillion....

the whole european banking crisis is a wild card, I figured the U.S. would be asked to pay off that...

No guess on quantity but a prediction on effect .... INEFFECTIVE no matter the amount.

I would estimate that the Fed has agreed to swap about a trillion already with European and Japanese central banks. This was QE2.5, very similar to QE1.5 but probably way more than the $500B at that time, they have cash for a while. No one mainstream considers this to be monetization, so we are fine...

so we go from 0.25% interest rate to 0.0%?

lower the bank reserve limits for lending?

talk up Obama's job programs a bit, saying the fed will pay for it.

Yeah that's what I heard too, that they're going to lower interest rates again. As if that's going to do anything?
