An excuse to stay stupid and feeling entitled and possibly shows the racism of the accuser.

I can see how staying stupid and feeling entitled it is applied with support from both ends. One from those acting psychopathicly with used of state power and MSM. And the second from the masses looking for childlike excuses to allow reactionary denial (preventing them from becoming an adult and properly understanding issues and acting more responsibly in life).

I've been thinking lately it may be preferable to see self described 'political division' as more of a common mental addling mechanism at work in making ignorant slaves of different (self identifying) segments of the masses. Or more that faith in authority is more about one of fiath not wanting to bother figuring things out and don't want to admit this to themselves.

I recall one of the times my father was most angry at me. I was simply probing his religious beliefs and neutrally as I could to understand what he though of the afterlife he subscribed to.

Right when it was clear less than a minute of probing had already taken us to an abyss in his line of thinking he never bothered exploring, he got about the most angry I had ever seen him. It took me answering the same questions myself regarding my religious belief (showing good faith and not out to attack him) before he calmed down enough to be in a sulk not directed at me.

Anyway I've been thinking the all to common reaction of people around me and in the more "progressive" internet sites who pretend to get it but a few minutes of questioning show to me they don't.

Most jump at the chance to attack the "Tea Party" people. When I start asking neutral probing questions about why they see the Tea Party People as negative, they respond with some fault in mainstream Republicanism. As example (from someone who teaches college students) of 'bad Tea Party' was a few days ago the Tea Party was responsible for Texas execution. Then I ask why do they think Tea Party = Bad Republican things, they start getting uncomfortable realizing they only have lame MSM propaganda our past programming they were reacting to. When I point out the only real Tea Party person in the Republican race is Ron Paul, they don't have much to say, and I think this is because they have no idea who he is (in Canada the MSM just ignores him when covering the race) and I can see them near a mental abyss (like my father). At this point we agreed the MSM is basically a force of evil and I don't push on like with my father.

Other trips to the abyss include questions like: How is a Tea Party candidate so much more dangerous wanting to withdraw from foreign conquests (when they admit this is a good thing) and the alternative mainstream parties start new wars each year these days?
Why is following the laws of the land (US constitution) bad and dangerous?
And more specifically: So you are ready to demonize a new FEDERAL movement that basically supports what you agree would help improve wars, banking and reduce economic crime because of some unrelated decades old STATE policy that has nothing to do with the "Tea Party"?

Even the educated elite around here are jacked up to go around demonizing fellow citizens concerned (as they are) with the crime and corruption destroying our society because they would otherwise have to starting thinking like an adult.
