Regarding power outages and a tin foil hat...

Saturday (9-24-11) there was a huge power outage in Chile. It is speculated by the Chilean folks I know that it was caused by gov to shut down the protestors (and these are not conspiracy minded folks, for the most part). Unfortunately, the power outage spread through much of the country. 10 million of Chile's 17 million citizens lost power for at least 2 hours. Most places were out for 3 hours or so. The official explanation is that there was a computer malfunction.

Very well could be a coincidence, but, I'm not into coincidence theories ;)

Maybe I saw this program back in 2000. Prior to 911, I thought "if I were a terrorist, I would blow up part of the Canary Islands and cause a tsunami that would wipe out the east coast of the US." Truth may be stranger than fiction!
