When asked if there ever was an example of a libertarian society which worked, I wish he would have continued with the example of the industrial revolution. Namely, that before gov't got involved in industry and was concerned primarily with defending the rights of the people, when faced with a complaint that a new factory was polluting a farmer's land, the courts would correctly rule in favor of the farm owners, make the factory owner pay restitution to the damaged property, and order him to refrain from polluting adjacent land. However, once the factory lobbyists successfully got government involved in protecting the factories, the courts announced that building factories was more important to society than protecting some lowly farmer's property rights. Then the factory builders were given a green light from the government to pollute as much as they wanted, because they had the federal court system on their side. From that point on, no consideration was given to how factories may be engineered to be cleaner and pollute less; they didn't have to worry about it at all, which is why the industrial revolution has become synonymous with pollution.

That's cool. I wasn't sure how that interview was going to go. I love Ron Paul.

Whats with the left handed hand shake? Does Ron have a problem with his right arm?

The video is flipped. Look at the text scrolling above their heads near the start. 16 second mark. The person who uploaded it probably used a shitty free program for converting the video or something.

Hahaha I saw that right away and figured something to that effect. Either way RP as always did a good job. Loved the comment that he is the only politician that doesn't change direction.

I liked when he said (in regards to Fed. Gov. in washington) something like "We're not very good at our jobs: look at the deficit" or something like that. Cute.
