At least someone came forward and explained the G20 is really about a loss of sovereignty to a global government.

Canadian PM: I Will Defend Israel 'whatever the cost'

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUfFdhIOoQM

"And I know, by the way, because I have the bruises to show for it, that whether it is at the United Nations or any other international forum, the easiest thing to do is simply to just get along and go along with this anti-Israel rhetoric, to pretend it is just about being even-handed, and to excuse oneself with the label of honest broker.

"There are, after all, a lot more votes—a lot more—in being anti-Israeli than in taking a stand. But as long as I am prime minister, whether it is at the United Nations, the Francophonie or anywhere else, Canada will take that stand, whatever the cost."

Yahoo News: Americans shocked Harper crime bill gives more time to pot growers than pedophiles (http://ca.news.yahoo.com/blogs/canada-politics/americans-odds-harper-crime-bill-gives-more-jail-160536154.html)
By Andy Radia | Canada Politics – Fri, 30 Sep, 2011

Tough-on-crime Americans are shocked our new omnibus crime bill gives more jail time to pot growers than pedophiles.

Care2, a large online social action network with almost 17 million followers, posted a blog (http://www.care2.com/causes/potheads-fare-worse-than-child-rapists-in-canadian-crime-bill.html#ixzz1ZR51K6XT) Thursday about one of the more peculiar elements of the legislation.

Writer Cathryn Wellner picked up on a story from the Vancouver Province that reported under the bill a person growing 201 pot plants in a rental unit would receive a longer mandatory sentence than someone who sexually assaults a toddler.

"If you're contemplating a life of crime in Canada, now is the time to switch from growing marijuana plants to preying on children," wrote Wellner.

"After years of having his crime bills defeated by the opposition, Stephen Harper is on the verge of getting his revenge. Never mind that the crime rate has been steadily dropping. Forget the failed experiment in tougher sentencing in the U.S., where the cost of incarceration is so great even conservatives are calling for reform.

"Harper promised to get tough on crime, and he plans to keep his word even if the social and economic costs far outweigh the benefits."

Readers of the article were just as unkind to our prime minister as Wellner.

"That's rediculously (sic) stupid. it proves how incompitent (sic) people can be. Raping someone is far worse than having a smoke," commented Averie K. from Sioux City, Iowa. "I'm not for marijuana, but I'm far more against rapists!"

"Learn from Amerika's (sic) mistakes! Don't do this! You will run your country into the ground!!!!!!!!" wrote Britin J. from Anchorage, Alaska.

And finally, Victoria M. from Poulsbo Washington, kept her comment simple and to the point.

"Idiocy," she wrote.

pedophillia is a sanctified behaviour. Of this I can assure you. You can see offender after offender being let off for possesion of material and acts against other people. I have noticed that producers of material fair far worse than users of said material. Of course you need to be an "approved" producer.

Canada Well Positioned to Lead NATO Forward (http://jinsa.wordpress.com/2011/10/12/canada-well-positioned-to-lead-nato-forward/)

[Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs Official Blog]
OCTOBER 12, 2011 By Zach Paikin

From Islamic extremists pursuing nuclear weapons and engaging in acts of terrorism to an irredentist, dictatorial Russia and a rising “Communist” China, there indeed remain serious threats to the security of liberal democracies. With the United States almost inevitably set to progressively retreat as the global superpower over the decades ahead, Canada – a nation with a stronger economy (boasting a more competitive corporate tax rate and a debt-to-GDP rate significantly reduced since the 1990s, in particular) and a far less polarized electorate than the United States - has a distinct opportunity to advance international commitment to the defense of liberty.

Canada would do well to pursue the following five policies:

1) Canada should double the size of its military. Canada’s military spending is lower than that of most NATO states and such an increase will put its armed forces on par with those of its allies. Canada has already contributed significantly to NATO by completing a difficult mission in Kandahar, Afghanistan and by having Lt. Gen. Charles Bouchard lead NATO’s 2011 mission in Libya. It’s time to take the next step.

2) Canada’s current negotiations with the United States concerning a security perimeter deal should be completed and further steps should be taken to advance the security and commercial interests of both states. One first step should be the negotiation of a common environmental standard between the two countries...

the deal could be eventually expanded to other states as a mechanism for regulating the private sector... without the help of the dictator-filled UN.

3) ...[A] Northwest Passage ... The new deal would allow for long-term Western security interests to be ensured while reassuring the United States that its commercial needs will be met...

...Once Canada and the United States have reconciled their defense-related views over the Arctic, they can approach Russia together to advance the commercial interests of the three states.

4) The aforementioned negotiations with Russia over Arctic commerce should be pursued simultaneously with a joint ballistic missile defense (BMD) pact between the United States and Canada ...

5) Canada and the United States (and eventually other NATO states) should sign an agreement on the prevention of mass atrocities abroad...

Signing such a deal is particularly important, seeing as it suggests that a key way to defend liberty at home is to fight for human rights abroad. Hence, our interests and our values are intrinsically linked.

Ten years after 9/11, Canada can prove two things. First, it can prove that that NATO states still have a role to play in defending liberty. Second, with the American and European political and economic scenes visibly in turmoil, Canada — at least symbolically — can become the leader of the free world.

Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird, seen during a trip to Tripoli last week

AFP October 18, 2011 OTTAWA - Following in the footsteps of the United States and Britain, Canada has frozen the assets of five Iranian nationals accused by Washington of plotting to kill a Saudi ambassador, officials said Tuesday.

"In response to credible allegations of the Iranian regime's involvement in an assassination plot last week, Canada is imposing new sanctions on five Iranian nationals believed to be complicit in its planning," Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird said in a statement.

The measures place travel restrictions on the five and ban any Canadian individual or entity from having financial dealings with them.

Israel betrayed by world powers, scholar says (http://www.vancouversun.com/news/Israel+betrayed+world+powers+scholar+says/5686386/story.html#ixzz1dL6gcm5S)

But conflict between factions in Muslim-majority countries makes nation less of a target

BY BARBARA YAFFE, VANCOUVER SUN NOVEMBER 10, 2011

Israelis are aware Canada is their new best friend but no longer care so much about Western support, says influential Middle Eastern writer Barry Rubin.

The American-born terrorism expert who lives in Tel Aviv was in Vancouver this week to launch a speaking tour sponsored by the Toronto-based Centre for Israeli and Jewish Affairs.

Israelis are "very aware" of and happy about Canada's support, Rubin reports.

Other Western nations that support Israel include New Zealand, Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands, he says.

Commenting on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's newly revealed unpopularity with the French and American presidents, Rubin said Nicolas Sarkozy's negative view of the Israeli PM comes as a surprise.

Obama's doesn't.

Rubin says the American government has betrayed Israel's interests.

The director of the Global Research for International Affairs Centre and editor of the Middle East Review of International Affairs wrote this week: "The Obama Administration has openly sided with Israel's enemies. I don't mean the Palestinian Authority or Saudi Arabia. That would be tolerable. We're talking here about openly genocidal, anti-Semitic groups ... the Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah and the Taliban (moderate wing)."

Rubin says it's mainly media, academia and elite groups leading the PR charge [for] Israel. But they don't necessarily reflect broader public opinion.

In any event, Israelis have learned to rely on their own judgment, after having been disappointed by those from whom they expected support.

"A country that's under attack from radical Islamists and terrorists, facing a resurgence of anti-Semitism, a country that has ... pulled out of Lebanon, pulled out of the Gaza Strip. And after all that, we're more hated than ever?"

Rubin says there is "zero" chance peace talks with the Palestinians will resume. "It's over, it's done with, it's dead."...

Stephen Harper declares wheat board [sell-off] bill can proceed despite ruling (http://www.globalwinnipeg.com/Stephen+Harper+declares+wheat+board+[sell-off to]+proceed+despite+ruling/5836827/story.html#ixzz1gIhMWOfQ)

[ December 10, 2011] Questions continued to swirl Thursday about the impact of a ruling by a federal judge in Winnipeg that the government violated the Canadian Wheat Board Act by not seeking a plebiscite with farmers before introducing legislation to end the CWB monopoly.

The government is appealing the decision and is proceeding with the legislation anyway.

Opposition parties and CWB backers are demanding the government halt debate on the bill until they consult farmers. But Harper signalled the government has no plans at all to put the brakes on the bill.

"Nothing in the ruling contradicts the government's fundamental right to change the law," Harper said in the House of Commons.

The government issued a notice that the final vote on bill C-18 will take place in the Senate Dec. 15.

It would then need to get royal assent, and it would have to be implemented.

However, politics professor Ned Franks at Queen's University in Kingston, Ont., said Thursday that as long as the legislation is before the courts on appeals, the courts will not allow the government to act on the bill.

"When a court hasn't decided on something, the parties to that decision can't do an action that makes that (court) decision a moot point."

The Bible said a One World governement would be here BEFORE the 2nd coming. I hope you all are ready, as in, Are you saved.... yet? If not what are you waiting for??

Joel 3:2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

Zephaniah 3:8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

Zechariah 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
