PAYPAL billionaire Peter Thiel doesn't have a hideous facial scar, a white cat or a diabolical plan to take over the world. But his desire to build floating countries in a bid create a new world order run along libertarian ideals does scream Bond villain.

According to The Sun newspaper (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3774868/Billionaire-to-build-new-countries-at-sea.html), Thiel, 43, has given $1.19 million to the Seasteading Institute (http://seasteading.org/), which believes the ocean is the "only option to create new societies on Earth".
The first floating nation could be built off San Francisco as soon as next year.
The new countries would be a "kind of floating Petri dish for implementing policies that libertarians, stymied by indifference at the voting booths, have been unable to advance: no welfare, looser building codes, no minimum wage and few restrictions on weapons".

The institute is run by Patri Friedman, the grandson of Nobel prize-winning economist Milton Friedman.
He argues that "government is an inefficient industry because it has an insane barrier to entry. To compete with governments on existing land, you have to win a war, an election, or a revolution".

Thiel, 43, who is worth $1.6 billion, admitted that many saw the idea of creating societies in the ocean as a crackpot scheme.
"There are quite a lot of people who think it's not possible.
"That's a good thing. We don't need to really worry about those people very much, because since they don't think it's possible they won't take us very seriously. And they will not actually try to stop us until it's too late."

1. Enrst Stavro Blofeld - Wants to push the world into a all-consuming war so he can reap money and power.
2. Karl Stromberg - Hates the surface world. It is his mission to start over with a new civilization underwater.
3. Hugo Drax - Hates the entire world. Wants to destroy it and start again in space.
4. Elliot Carver - Wants to start a war between China and Britain to increase newspaper sales.
5. Colonel Moon/Gustav Graves - Wants to start a new world war with a giant diamond-powered laser.

Very cool... although...

May eternal SHAME, POVERTY, and DISHONOR be heaped upon the MSM for linking him to "James Bond Villains" and the NWO - reading through the article, it appears that what Thiel is trying to accomplish is the exact OPPOSITE of both! :(

PAYPAL billionaire Peter Thiel doesn't have a hideous facial scar, a white cat or a diabolical plan to take over the world. But his desire to build floating countries in a bid create a new world order run along libertarian ideals does scream Bond villain.

Once again... FUCK YOU, LYING MAINSTREAM MEDIA SHITHEADS!!!! - absolutely NOTHING about creating a floating country of libertarians in international waters, people who just want to escape your foul stinking shit authoritarian collectivist failed systems and be left alone, has ANYTHING to do with "Bond Villains" or the New World Order! :(
