Good people,
Dogman has been unreachable by phone, email, and PM since his recent ban.
For those of you who believe in a God or other supernatural force/entity, please send some prayers his way. For those of you who are agnostic/atheist/other, please devote a moment's reflection/introspection toward your fellow forumite and his difficult circumstances... from a purely humanist point of view, he's among the ABSOLUTE BEST we reside with in this online community!
Dogman, wherever you are, and whatever you are doing... be well, and whatever version of life you are presently living, live it to its absolute FULLEST! ;)
That's all.

I will make a special offering to Annubis, for his eventual return.
Now I go search for the reasons.

Prayer sent. I spoke to Dogman on the phone last week. He was in good spirit, and we had a real nice conversation. He's a man I'd like to meet one day, indeed. Be well Dogman and let us know how you are doing!

Gaillo, you have my number, you NEVER called me when you banned me. Nor did you email me. Is Dogman that unstable that he would allow sand in his vagina from being banned for 3 days? Or did he need his ego massaged. Inquiring minds want to know. If he's in a bad place delete my post because I don't mean any disrespect, but if he's being a little bitch, sprinkle it with with excerpts from the Talmud.

General, you can't really compare each of us to each other. What I mean, is you might whine and complain, but we know you'll be alright. Even if you bitch and moan about getting banned....it's all good, it's the General, blowing off some steam.
I am concerned about the Dogman. He's a great guy. I think we should be looking out for each other, and if we see a man down..we ought to try and pick that man back up again.
I think that's what Gaillo and this post is about. We've got a man down, possibly, and need to find a solution.

Knowing Dogman you should have let it go with a 1 night ban or something, I saw what was going on and said not to ban him. To me it was just a night with a little too much party in the system. Of course you cant play favorites around here so it should have been ban that was lifted early, no need to explain yourself, your a mod. Then again not banning him at all would have been a better choice, I saw the post of reason and it was quite obvious it was Ale Cohaul talking and not Dogman, his account was compromised for the night.

Ximmy posting that does not disturb me, she is a pretty solid poster,
there are people here that post freakier shit than that and mean it, nobody
challenges them, especially you, and your partner in this thread taking
shots at Ximmy, insulting her, I can't believe she thanked him. Why don't
you bug Horn for what he posted above ? Cause you like kicking girls.
Dogman is RichG's brother from GIM, the radio host for them.
All of you need to stay anonymous, be smart, don't be stupid.
If you don't think my advice is worth anything, go to GIM2
and post your real names and other personal information over there.
Edit add, for the record I like Dogman, sometimes it is like he is 2 different people.
Even some of what he wrote last summer does not bother me, because he was being honest.
He did contribute to these forums, I don't see any reason why he shouldn't get some sort of
an answer, how to approach a problem, burning bridges or being upfront, you can be more
of a pain being upfront putting people on the spot. I supported RichG last time around too,
everyone should stay anonymous, and in doing so I supported Dogman too, cause they are
brothers. I don't have a problem with RichG, some of you on here making fun of him,
that's low class I always thought.
My staying anonymous post applies to everyone, especially my friends.

Perhaps... but I'd seen the pattern before, and saw that it was escalating over the previous 2 days. I told him the last time he was banned (for a full month) that it wouldn't be tolerated here any more... he got off EASY this time, mainly because I'd made the effort to contact him (before the latest bender) and learned a bit about him and the struggles he's going through. He deserves a better world than this... but then again, don't we all! ;)

Ok, maybe you guys need to "dumb" this down some for me here 'cause I'm still not following... hey I live in America this sh*ts sticking on to me after so many years living amongst so many dumb folks, that's my excuse period...I keed I keed.
What i mean is I fail to see why we have a thread about a guy who was banned not even a week ago and now has not communicated/responded (no offense to dogman intended). He was banned before like stated for a month before so I would expect him to return, but I'll admit I don't know him personally. So, other than the fact that he was possibly drunk the last few nights before his ban, are you guys saying that he was going thru a pretty tough time that you are aware of that specifically raised flags for you? So, he's not like G.o.D. that comes back with a more eager attitude to want to stab everyone in the dick? What, honestly if this is not a routine ban. I didn't like people bashing other races & calling other members out and I think Gaillo did right(not just this particular ban), 1 day ban is not even a slap in the wrist IMO... it would be a "lets pretend I meant discipline so others think this board takes offenses seriously, but really doesn't" sort of coverup. Hell Gaillo, ban me for 4days if you like for the heck of it, that's about how long it takes me to post anyway, I'm sure I just pissed someone off right now...FU whomever you are!
If this isn't the case, please just explain and I apologz ahead of time b/c by the time I post again another 15 posts or something will have all ready replied and...Oh sh!t nvrmnd ok I'll STFU now, thx....no I'm not even drinking or high...gnite.

Veni,
First off, it was a 3-day ban, not one. Not that there's really all THAT much difference... both are a friendly "slap on the wrist" and not that serious of a "punishment" around here. It was mainly a "chill out, sober up, and think about it" kind of intended timeout, and NOT meant in any kind of vindictive or hateful way.
Second, the lack of communication is very worrisome... in PM's recently, and in chat (yes... I was there, watching but not talking...) he was almost begging Silver Art to call him... Dogman seems to be craving communication lately, and then suddenly nothing.
Finally, he has said some things to me over the phone, and apparently to some other forum members as well, that might indicate he is either SERIOUSLY depressed or maybe thinking of giving up... although it did seem like he was on the "upside" and in a more positive frame of mind just before the recent bender/ban/disappearance.
I don't know - I just get a VERY bad feeling from it all, and wanted to reach out to other forum members who might know him, to lend whatever assistance he might need.

I see (ok I lied about postin in another 4days or so)... I hear ya man, sometimes not having some one next to you to personnally discuss life with even other than immediate fam. with can be tough, good looking out for him G! I don't like it whenever you don't see a member post again(I miss a number of the one's from original GIM that didn't make it here or GIM2). Hope you come back then, dogman!

Personally I think "bans" are childish.
"Hey you said this so go stand in the corner for 3 days"
I think a user should be banned forever if they are obvious ban material.
But you don't go banning everyone that's gets a little crazy here and there.
We are all a little different and these are some trying times...plus some of us like to drink or smoke.
Give someone a warning or two...then ban permanently when needed. Show some a little more love for those who contribute and have been around awhile...which is what makes this forum a forum.
If we all agreed on everything there wouldn't be much to talk about.

As one of the "racists" around here I'm sure some of my comments have not been well received or contributed to the board's overall quality. For that I will say I'm sorry and I'm working on it. It does not change the depth of my understanding and passion, but if it means a more civilized draw for other members I don't want to do something at their expense.
Dogman is another example of good people losing it. All boards have their casualties and some people are stronger than others. The content we bat around is not exactly puppies and flowers, and has serious life repercussions for all of us. The good news is the door is apparently open for him to return if he wants it. GSUS is a premier learning tool, and all of us here benefit from the truth as ugly as it can get sometimes.
So just speaking for myself, I will try to be less offensive knowing I am not adding to the debate with things people already know. Perhaps Dogman will realize how many of us value his honesty and presence. Those commodities are in short supply in today's world and perhaps the membership's shining attributes since we are all so very different yet cohesive in our determination to be free and aware.

Here's a test for you to read so we can determine which part of the cycle you are in.
People can live with, marry, or have neighbors as they choose. I'm not wanting to limit anyone.
If you wanna marry a black girl? White girl? Hispanic girl? Asian girl? or whatever kind of girl, it's fine with me as I believe in free will for all people to make their own decisions in life with no one but God between them and their decision.
To do otherwise is to trespass upon another persons Right to free will. How can anyone have that if everyone else is trying to impose theirs on everyone around them?
Mr. Ali can choose for himself, too. His is but the word of one man.
He can feel how he wants, unless he feels that it's ok to harm another. Same as you reading this right now.

That's all. Thanks for caring. It counts, phone goes back up tomorrow. Plus you did what you had to do, I deserved it! Now for the rest of the forum members..
We all have our own demons, drinking is mine. There are a couple of members here that know a little about me. I am not the kind to complain or whine in public about my problems unlike some here.
And for the record , there is nobody on the earth that hates me more than myself when I drink and drop off the deep end. We all are in truth 2 or more people in one body. One is the public, the next is the Private and then the one that stays in the back of the mind that remembers all of the frustrations and hurts. And the person I become which is not the real me gets the chance to come out and play when I lose it when I drink, In the past I had some control and also being around people helped me control myself from going over the edge. And now in life I am a hermit and avoid outside real world contact, gotten tired of being hurt and taken by people (terrible judge of character, X wife prove that at last)
Now there is nobody and my total world is myself and 3 pets. All that I knew and cared for are gone and have been for quite awhile. Been a loner/hermit for all of my life and only needed a couple of friends to make life good. But in time people move on and now there is nobody. Tied to establish contact with family that is left, but that is another story.
Getting old and for now stuck with health failing and trying to live for another maybe 2 years before maybe there is some light to be seen in the tunnel. And I can sell my house and get the hell away from this place of memory's. And find another place to build more and better ones before checkout time.
On the forum I have always have tried to help the people here! I do not care for some of the beliefs posted here and mostly stay away from those topics. I post what I feel and believe and what maybe can help some.
I for one do hide who I am, and post that way.
You all do not have a clue of the loneliness that I try and live with plus the frustration of having to live the way I do at this time. In 15 or so months if I can make it that far, then maybe things here can change.
I hate myself for drinking, I am my most worse enemy and more so over the years! I try to stay clean, but so far no joy. So there is a cycle. I hate my life, but can not at the time break away so am stuck in it. you all have not a clue of how much I want too.
I think anymore that what the not-me person that posts when I drink , wants to yell scream and kick at the world because he is so tired of the life being lived past and present that he wants to end it and drive everyone , even himself totally away.
I am ashamed of myself and my apologies to all , mostly to one that I will not name. Seems like most family's and friends , when control is lost , the ones you care and like are the ones that will be attacked. Go figure?
As I said at the beginning I am not one to expose to the public my problems, but this is one time I am breaking that rule. Have not even looked at the forum until today and had my phone turned off , and it will stay turned off until tomorrow.
Peace to all here.

Welcome Back Dogman....
Just remember, Your not as alone as you might think and we all have our demons...
I suspect many of us are "loners" in reality or at heart but I truly believe your amongst friends here.
Even in this realm, some of us choose to be loaners. I don't post much but feel have a strong connection to the freedom of opinions in our little corner of the net and definitely value your contribution to it.
Just my 2 cents....

Dogman, you have a lot of friends here and are not alone. As other's have stated, we all have our demons. Mine are the past, the horrible things I've seen. It's important to see the future as an opportunity to make positive changes.
There's a book, one that got me pointed in the direction I feel I was meant to be. It's called the Cruising Life, author is Jim Trefethen. You could always say fuck it, sell everthing and be a sailing boat bum the rest of your life. I'm 20 years your younger and I'm damn content with it. :)
