I see that thread was deleted.

All I was trying to do was strike some balance. The article referred to in the OP was apparently some collectivist pap since it showed ZERO women with ANY modern combat arm (and no, a Ruger Super Redhawk does NOT qualify as a modern combat arm). The meme was 'gun ownership is strictly about hunting and sporting pleasure'. No, it's not. That meme is offensive to me.

It wasn't offensive to me. We understand that there are fudd guns and combat small arms and we know the difference so- I really don't see the need to strike
"balance". Actually - I saw you balance the ratio of fully clothed chicks to partially clothed chicks REALLY well. ;D I like hot chix as much as the next guy- but that thread was started by a lady.

COLONIE, N.Y. — Police say a Montana woman was arrested after security screeners found a loaded handgun in her purse at the Albany International Airport in New York.Loretta Quayle of Bozeman is charged with a misdemeanor count of illegally possessing a handgun, a loaded .380-caliber semiautomatic handgun.
Police say she had the gun in the side of a hard-shell leather purse when she went through security Monday on her way back to Bozeman. She had been in the area visiting relatives.
Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple says Quayle told them she forgot the gun was there.
She was arraigned and released without bail.
A message left Thursday at a Bozeman phone listing in Quayle’s name was not immediately returned.

And FWIW, those sneaky collectivist gungrabbing rat bastards will use ANY means to plant the notion that the RKBA is *strictly* about hunting and sporting pleasure - this CERTAINLY and ABSOLUTELY includes appearing to be 'pro-(sporting)gun' as they've done it innumerable times before. Example: "I/we fully support the 2nd Amendment, but we *need* 'common sense' restrictions/prohibitions on those dastardly and evil black guns which have no sporting purpose."
