There's something else happening here. Some investors are not confident with what gold is backed by, or if it's backed by anything at all, as compared to something like the US dollar. Investors are comfortable that the U.S. dollar is backed by the America government, so no matter what is happening to the American economy, something like the U.S. dollar is backed by the Federal Reserve that's going to be around a year from now. That's a much more comfortable investment for them.;D

Gold is backed by us, as individuals. It's our ability to use our brains to hide and conceal it, and it's backed by our ability to protect and defend it.

From Treatise on the Laws of the Forest by John Manwood
Even as by the Law he may enter into the ground of any of his subjects, wheresoever there are any Mynes of gold or silver to be found, and digge the land at his pleasure for the same mynes, and carry them away, for that they are things that do belong unto the king onely, in whose freehold or land soever [M.y& 10 Eliz Comm sol 312b] they chance to be found: for gold and silver are things of the most excellency, that are upon the earth: and therefore, when they are found in the land of any man, the Law doth attribute them, being things of such excellency, to belong to the most excellent person, which is the King.
So anyone who doesn't want to be King just go ahead and turn in your gold and silver now because these are things that don't belong in the pocket of anyone else.

Try putting in the terms and doing your own search.
Here are my results. I found exactly the two threads I was looking for.
Apparently, your results may differ. It is the search funstion at GSUS, after all. lol

That doesn't help if you don't remember the name of the thread. I knew Gold and something to deal with stupid were the key words. "Stupid gold" and "gold is stupid" didn't work.
I just tried "stupidity gold" the thread I was looking for is number 2 on the list. This thread was number one.
Now, trying to use "stupid gold", "gold is stupid", and "stupidity gold" may not work the same way currently because more posts are available with those keywords.

When you use " " marks it searches for that specific term. ie no variations allowed.
As far as having to remember the thread title, all you need to remember is a few key words of it.
Or a few key words in a particular post you may remember from the thread you are searching for and then search under that members name to narrow the results.
The search function is def cumbersome. But almost always I've been able to tweak the levers and buttons of it in order to eventually find that which I seek.
Although a few times I've had to resort to google site search.

I've also noticed that I've had an easier time finding stuff if I have the "sort by" option set to "date" as opposed to "relevance".

That is the strength of gold, it is not backed by any institution, but almost every person on earth thinks it has value. Of course if that was about to change, gold would become of little value, but I see no indication of that happening any time soon...
Silver on the other hand will become less valuable than dirt within 2 months, count on 3-4 bucks a ton, delivery included...O0

Stands to reason that gold does absolutley nothing and the value of it can change with the wind. Gold is nothing compared to a nation(or even world) full of slaves.
Think about it for a second! Who wouldnt take a slave over gold or silver any day?
Now think in terms of kenite jews (mostly controlling bankers) who want to rule the world. The kenite jews didnt go after the gold and silver mines of the world to control the population. They went after a bigger prize that far excede gold and silver.....................you!
Think they can shape the world into a slave agenda with all the precious metal in their posession?
No, they cant, the gold is worthless..........its a relic that only holds value the slaves deem it, not the bankers, but the slaves. The price of gold is only dictated by what the slave (nation or individual) is willing to pay for it.
The real value is turning a nation of kings into slaves for their objectives through manipulation, lies and deception.
Gold is of little value to the bankers. Its a commodity is it not?
A slave is far more valueable than gold or silver will ever be. What can a slave do that gold cant................everything!
Gold is only coming into play because the slave has started to learn he's a slave.
Until the slave realizes hes not a slave, but a king, he'll then, and only then, pick up a gold piece and use it as money.

What do we, as kings, trade amongst each other, slaves? Wouldn't gold and silver be just as easy?

Yes it is brilliant! And you know they stopped teaching civics as a class in public schools way before I ever entered into this earth. The best kept secret is still a secret. You turn the slave back into the People and they no longer have dominion.
And nothing is going to change until!

just for pure entertainment value, i would like to see Bridget Brown participate in the Presidential debates.
and maybe replace Biden on the Dem ticket.
i wouldn't want to see her on Ron Paul's ticket.
not to de-rail the thread but - who would be Ron's VP if Ron Paul wins the nomination ?
