Its a pity for Raymond Davis that diplomatic immunity doesn’t extend to suburban Denver.
Davis, the “consulate employee” (read: CIA assassin (http://news.antiwar.com/2011/02/21/raymond-davis-a-cia-contractor-us-confirms/)) who was arrested in January for murdering two people on the streets of Lahore and started a multi-month diplomatic row between the US and Pakistan, underscored what a reasonable man he is today by trouncing another man in front of Einstein Bagels (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/44745640/ns/us_news/t/cia-operative-charged-parking-spot-fight/#.TokNMkXYsGY.twitter%5C) in Highlands Ranch in a dispute over a parking spot.
Davis was arrested on the spot and charged with third degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was later released when he posted $1,750 bond (http://nation.com.pk/pakistan-news-newspaper-daily-english-online/Politics/03-Oct-2011/Raymond-Davis-booked-for-assault-in-US). No word yet on if the Saudi government (http://news.antiwar.com/2011/03/17/report-saudi-arabia-paid-raymond-davis-blood-money/) paid his way out of jail this time.
