Meh.
Doesn't really matter who stays in the race or drops out, TPTB will install their puppet of choice anyway, using the power of Diebold. Elections in this country have almost always been a bad joke... but since the advent of electronic voting, there isn't even a punchline any more! :(

LOL the power of diebold? How about the power of the MSM and 300 million stupid fucking people? Diebold is the final nail in a corpse filled buried coffin.

Just a show. Once elections went electronic, the results can be COMPLETELY separated from any dumbass media-installed public sentiment. If the two match, then all the better for TPTB, but even if people wised up, they'd have to get rid of Diebold before they could do anything to actually fix things through elections.
If elections actually changed anything, they'd be illegal! :o

True dat. I've always looked at diebold as the fail safe, should the 1 in a million chance actually become a near reality.

Indeed. If in doubt, watch the movie "Hacking Democracy", for an inside look at year's past shenanigans. Then, imagine what Diebold is capable of now. ~shudder~
Hacking Democracy
2006 TV-PG 81 minutes
With electronic voting machines tabulating more than 80 percent of the ballots cast in America, Seattle grandmother Bev Harris set out to determine the obvious: Do they work? Based on the evidence presented here, the answer is "not really." The picture that emerges as Harris unearths a treasure trove of info about mishandled votes and the inner workings of the machines is that they're not only fallible but also highly vulnerable to hacking.

Some states actually have mail-in ballots, making it worse in my opinion.
I am still holding out hope for some serious momentum for Ron Paul. It's time and he's raking in the money right now.
I always thought it was obvious Palin was only dragging it out for the fame and profit.
