Hey GoD. I was going to resurect my Petrolhead thread this weekend because it's the Bathurst 1000 today down here. It's the premier event of the V8 Supercar calendar. 6 hour enduro race. Ford Vs Holden (GM).

1000km's around Mt Panorama, NSW. Awesome race.

I usually pull the phone, grab the beers and snax and plant myself for a day of Petrol head Nirvana. Today I went out to a picnic for a couple hours so I taped it. I'm watching the second 3 hours now.

If you guys get our local Channel 7 coverage and it sounds like you're getting something over there I hope you guys enjoy it. Fantastic sport, knowlegable commentary. Mostly ex racers on the commentary team.

I caught the last two hours of it. What a great race, if there was an extra lap the winner would have taken second.
